This is Izumida Azami of Autumn Troupe.
Can’t believe the winter break’s already over.
It passed by in a flash.
A while back, Kumon went to visit their family home and came back with a kite, immediately wanting to take it out to fly. So I accompanied him.
He asked me to take a picture, so I made sure to take a good one when I could. Great timing too, ‘cause the next thing we knew the wind direction took a turn and it dropped dead to the ground. No way I could’ve taken a pic of that poor thing and put it up for the blog.
In any case, even though the wind changed around little by little, it wasn’t enough to make it fall again no matter how much we played with it.
Kumon went and told me to try flying the kite by myself too, and I guess it flew pretty okay, I think.
Speaking of, it was also the birthday of our reliable stagehand, Tetsuro-san, but I never really got to properly greet him upfront, even though he’s helped us with so much. I’m not sure when I’ll actually get to meet him again face-to-face, but I’m sure he’ll be reading the blog, so let me say it here:
Happy Birthday, Tetsuro-san.

There’s this park with a bunch of plum trees in it, and me and some others went to take a visit. I found it on
a route different from the one we take to go back home from the university. After mentioning it to the others,
we used our free day to take a closer look at the place.
There weren’t a lot of blossoms yet at the time I found the trees, so I couldn’t even tell what kind of trees were surrounding the park. But on the day we visited, there were flowers blooming everywhere.
Tsumugi-san said that it seems that we got to see them just at the right time of their blossoming season.
Some snow was still left around the plum trees from the snowfall the day before. Seems like this scenery is what people call “a blanket of snow”. When I first heard of it, I thought the phrase was related to cosmetics
or something. I never would’ve thought it was about landscapes. There’s still so much for me to learn.
As someone who is studying theatre, I need to really brush up on my vocabulary.
I brought a camera with me that day, so I took some pictures. I’ll post one of them here.
“I want to get a picture with a mood that matches the scenery,” is what Taichi said, so I gave it a go.
He was very happy about the result when I showed him this image. The photography lessons that I got from Omi-san must be paying off… I think I’ll get this photo printed and give to Taichi next time.

Hello there.
This is Minagi Tsuzuru from Spring Troupe.
A few days ago, MANKAI Company went to Fukko High School and was asked to participate in a school event called the Setsubun Festival. Together with the school’s theatre club, the performance we did at the shrine was truly a memorable occasion that I will hold dear.
We made most of the preparations in Fukko High itself, and because of that I really felt like I was taken back to my high school days— I couldn’t help but feel excited.
Among those who participated in the performance were Citron-san, Miyoshi-san, Juza, Azami, and Takato-san. We spent so much time being in the same classroom together that I started wondering if this is what it would be like if we were classmates… Despite us being too old for high school now, of course.
Now writing something like this would make Miyoshi-san call me out and say “getting sentimental now, are we?” But I suppose I can let him slide with those kinds of comments, for the time being.
In any case, with the performance being a little different than usual, I hope everyone enjoyed it all regardless. We made the show open to the public, so if you were able to come to see our performance and had fun with it, then I’m glad.
Even if Setsubun has already long passed, I wish everyone good fortune in the coming days.
Until next time.

Hello there. This is Autumn Troupe’s Fushimi Omi.
A while ago, we made a trip to see the night flights at the airport. I’ve noticed that it’s been getting warmer than it has been at late, and because of that. it did give me a lot of chances to be able to take pictures outside, so I’m grateful for it. With Spring just around the corner, it’d be nice if it does keep getting warmer from now on.
I did just mention we went to the airport, but it wasn’t to see someone off. Yuki and Muku had mentioned
watching a drama that was set in an airplane. It seems like it was a rerun, too. I only got to see the last episode,
but when I told Taichi about it, he lent me a DVD of it that he owns.
And now I got to watch the whole thing from start to finish.
The premise of the drama involved a hijacking, and from there the development gets really tense.
I know I don’t even get that many chances to ride planes, but…
I really started thinking about what I would do in that situation, or what would be the most right thing to do if that kind of development were to happen while I’m in the middle of my flight. But thanks to the drama, it did help me learn more about the people who work behind the airline work. I’m glad I got to watch it.
If you are all interested, please do check it out too.
Although it has been getting warmer, the mornings and evenings are still pretty cold.
Everyone, please make sure to take care of yourselves by keeping warm and sleeping lots.

Mikage Hisoka. Winter Troupe.
The warmer days are becoming more frequent, which means it’s becoming the perfect season for afternoon naps.
A while ago, Muku and Taichi have been sending pictures of cherry blossom buds thru LIME. Everyone was thinking exactly the same thing: “So, spring has finally come.”
Sakyo has also mentioned that eggs are cheaper these days, so after he bought a whole bunch of them, we’ve been having egg dishes every day since. Tsumugi is ecstatic about it, but I think it’s starting to be a bit too much.
It seems that the pricing is all because Easter is next month, and because of that, it’s best to take advantage of the current market. At least, that’s what Omi says. And if he’s the one saying it, it must be true.
After I told him I was getting tired of all the egg dishes we’ve been having, Omi said that he’ll try to come up with some dessert to use the eggs on instead. Particularly one with marshmallows, since I requested it.
I’m kinda looking forward to tonight’s dinner now.

Good day, everyone!
This is Sakisaka Muku of Summer Troupe.
Recently, there have been even more cherry blossoms trees that have started to bloom around the path we take to and from school and back home. I keep wondering when they’ll become fully bloomed, so every day when I go home, I get a little excited to see the growth every time.
A change of topic, but, a while back, there was this “Happy Easter Event” that was held in this large park at the next town over, and MANKAI Company was let to participate in it.
Since it is themed after Easter, just as you’d expect, we performed in a lot of events where we had to use easter eggs and be involved with the little rabbits. So even though I was the leader for the occasion among us members, I ended up getting the most out of it from being surrounded by all the cute rabbits!
Of course, I was also really glad that we were able to do our stage performance without any hitches. I wouldn’t have done it without everyone with me. To all of my friends who stood by me on stage, to the people who were involved behind the scenes, and most of all, to everyone who came by to watch us, thank you so so much for giving your support! I’m thankful to each and every one of you!
Actually, now that I think about it, the staff told us about how the cherry blossoms in the same park of the event are especially pretty when the trees are in full bloom. It’d be really nice to come to visit the area again when it’s blooming season again.
That’s all from me. Thank you so much for reading till the end!

Hyodo Kumon of Summer Troupe here!
Y’know, yesterday I just lazed around so much all day watching a bunch of videos~
Having this much free time is nothing but bliss, don’t you think!?
I used to like watching stuff like documentaries of retired baseball stars, or recordings of live matches, y’know, that sort of stuff. But then I was recommended a video of this kid skateboarding and doing tricks!
Not only was the video cute, but the kid was so good that my eyes were glued the whole time.
When it comes to skateboarding, no one other than Taichi-san fits the bill!
I often see Taichi-san skate around downtown before, and I always thought he looked super cool riding so dashingly on his board!
I’ve been hearing that Sakuya-san and Hisoka-san have been going out with Taichi-san to practice skateboarding together in the park. I wonder if I’ll get my own chance to try it out as well~
Do you think if I asked Taichi-san he’ll be open to teaching me? Oh, but first, I gotta get myself a good skateboard!
By the way, we have plans to go play some field baseball today!
I’ve been joining in more often these days (^ ^)v
If tomorrow ends up being a free day too, I’ll try to put in more exercise next time!
See you guys again later!

This is Yukishiro Azuma of the Winter Troupe.
As March rolled in with warmer weather, the days have also become a lot more comfortable. I hope everyone has been making preparations for their own flower-viewing plans.
With the changing of seasons, our very own Guy would start getting into his professional mode and ask everyone in the troupe about their opinions as he comes up with the seasonal menu for the bar he manages. It’s a sight that I’ve been seeing from him a lot recently.
That being said, the other day, he let a number of us members help him out by sampling the food and drinks from his spring seasonal menu. I was often personally assigned to be the one to sample the drinks.
On that day, in particular, I was allowed to try this cherry blossom-inspired cocktail.
The colors certainly do seem fitting, and what a cute color on a cocktail it is. It was accented with salt-picked cherry blossoms and turned out quite delicious indeed.
The picture I took at the time didn’t turn out well because of the bar’s dim lighting, so Omi took this picture for me instead. The ones who were in charge of sampling the desserts on the same day were Omi, Juza, and Hisoka. The three of them gave their feedback, but still, Guy seemed to have happily accepted them. “It seems that I should make them a bit sweeter,” he said.
It appears that this limited-time menu has already been made available in the bar, so I’m considering having this cocktail again when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
Perhaps this sounds like an advertisement for Guy’s shop, but I would consider the place to already be a part of the troupe’s everyday life by now, so I think it’s alright to have a blog post like this every now and then.
I’ll see you all again soon.

Hey! It’s Nanao Taichi from Autumn Troupe!
Before anything else, I’d like to say.…
OKINAWA WAS SUPER FUUUUUUN———!!!!!
I’ve just gotten back from the trip and been putting away my luggage as I write this blog, but…! Really though,
I was like “Aww man we’re really back home…” I miss it so much already. (;_;)
Next time I get the chance I’m hopping immediately to the first flight back there again!
I absolutely love skateboarding, and knowing that I was able to set foot on the birthplace of the skateboard culture, even now it all still feels like a fever dream to me!
Kyu-chan was just starting out himself, and everyone else who acted along with me were pretty inexperienced with the skateboard, but we all did our best to practice together for the sake of the play this time. Though we ran into a lot of troubles on our own, not only was it fun, but we managed to wrap it up without anyone getting hurt, and that’s what counts!
Thank you so much again to everyone who went out of their way to watch us perform! I’m so so glad I was able to show off the fun of skateboarding to everyone (>_<)
Anyway! I really hope I get to fly to Okinawa again soon! There’s obviously stuff like sightseeing and food trips that
I wanna do, but most of all, it’s because there are guys there that I want to become friends with! (^^)
Well then! Let’s all see each other for the next performance, yeah?(≧▽≦)

As the warm spring sunshine and charming cherry blossoms begin to bloom on this fine day, we enter the grounds of MANKAI Wizardry School with great expectations.
Though we are only 2 students representing the Class of 99.5 of this school, we were met with a wonderful ceremony that was dedicated just for the two of us. Once again, we are thankful for the welcome.
We were so touched by the kindness that was shown by our professors and upperclassmen yesterday that it has made us feel motivated for our upcoming magic studies in our school. Though 7 years may seem like a long time for student life, it’s certain that by the time we get there, all those years will feel as if they went by in a flash.
We may be inexperienced as of now, but we hope to follow in the footsteps of our upperclassmen in order to become wizards as splendid as we can be. We aim to work our hardest on our magical studies so that we may spend each of our days without any regret.
And finally, may the days that we spend in this school become a memorable story for each of the students to take with them for the rest of their lives.

Rurikawa Yuki. Summer Troupe.
Now that it’s officially spring, it seems like it’s gotten really warm recently.
Just a while ago, Kumon and I were bringing in the dry laundry together. “You can actually smell the sun even more than usual this time!”, he said. It’s really something that he would say, but I guess I can’t argue how nice it feels to have the clothes be bathed in the sunlight.
Speaking of clothes, I also went shopping with Azu-nee a few days ago. We bought a lot of spring wear, though Azu-nee went and bought me a skirt he had chosen just for me. It did pique my interest too since it had some cute vivid colors to it.
Oh, and also, right after shopping, we stopped by the bookstore. There was this one book about Western-style tailoring that I was searching for the other time, and I finally found it.
I only bought one book for now, but there were actually a whole collection of books that featured all kinds of dressmaking from foreign countries. Honestly, I wanted to buy the rest of them, too. I think I will plan on collecting them one by one, but considering how curious I am about the rest, I‘m just itching to read them even sooner.
That being said, I might just end up buying all of them in a binge next time.

Since it’s been warmer these days, I’ve finally been able to do my morning jogs for a lot longer again. Today, I was running together with Sakisaka when we saw cherry blossoms along the way.
Speaking of cherry blossoms, the whole MANKAI troupe went to go cherry blossom viewing a while back. Though, after that, a few of us went to see them again later on. I went to grab some drinks from nearby, and everyone was chatting by the cherry blossom trees. Right then and there, a few cats showed up. Was it because Ikaruga and Mikage were here as well…?
When I went to look around, I found this picture.
I wasn’t sure who took it, but judging by the quality of photography, it must’ve been Fushimi.
There were some cats who were playing around in the trees. Others were lying around where Usui was also napping.
You may look at this photo and think we made off with a peaceful viewing party, but when you have Arisugawa spouting out poems from his sudden inspirations and Citron dancing along to it, it’s as rowdy as it can be.
As for me, I chatted with Sakyo-san and the Director about our recent reading materials that day. It’s interesting to see how different our viewpoints and opinions were on the same subject of works. I ended up being more absorbed in our conversation than I was in the flowering trees around us.

Good day. This is Tsukioka Tsumugi from Winter Troupe.
It seems that the spring flowers in the courtyard’s flowerbed have started to bloom quite recently. I wanted to take a picture to show you all, but I’m afraid all of the shots I took were too blurry to be of any good….. I’ll try to work on it for next time, and I’ll be sure to upload it on Inste once I do.
With the arrival of Spring, I have a new announcement to make. As it’s been announced previously, we’ve been invited to be featured for the next issue of the local magazine “VELUDO” once again, and this time the members who were chosen for the cover were me and Yuki-kun from Summer Troupe. The photos that were taken turned out really wonderful, so I do hope that you’ll look forward to our appearance on the cover.
In addition to that, the special feature for the issue will be about the antique book fair that was held in the Veludo Library. We even took part in helping out the staff for the event. There will be more of it covered in the magazine’s publication, but here’s a little inside story that I can talk about:
As we were arranging the books together, Sakuya-kun from the Spring Troupe was approached by this sweet old man. Once they finished their conversation, Sakuya-kun came up and told me that the old man narrated to him the summary of a very memorable book of his that happened to be left at the antique book fair.
After that, he told me that he plans to read this book soon when he can. It made me think that this must be how the stories of old books get passed down from generation to generation.
Do you have a memorable book that you hold dear? If you do, then I’d love to hear what everyone’s answers are.
With that, this was Winter Troupe’s Tsukioka Tsumugi.
