This troupe blog was simply not doing its job in any way or form; in order to do away with this situation, we decided to re-examine the ways of blogging. From now on, we'll run this blog under proper rules.

A Big Uproar

Hello. Fushimi Omi from Autumn Troupe here.
This is only the second entry of this blog, I thought I have to do it properly so in the beginning I typed it all formally, but Sakyo-san told me…
"Too stiff. Write it more roughly so the fans can read it more easily. It's not an essay see".
I think the others will write like this too.

The preface was long but…

The truth is the other day the oven in the dorms broke down, there was a real uproar.
Fortunately, the cause was the looseness of some parts so I asked Tasuku-san and he fixed it the day after but…
On that day I couldn't make sweets, see.
I made a promise to bake chocolate cookies with Muku, so both him and Juza were extremely depressed. My heart was in pain.

So, I went to a popular Western sweets store in Veludo Way and bought cookies, but I was surprised to see the interior of the store was all Valentine themed.

Thinking of which it's Valentine soon huh.
Good thing the oven was fixed quickly.
Seems like this year too I'll be able to give sweets to all the Company members.

Speaking of which, on the way home I passed by the Actor's Café and seemed like they were working on the interior design.
They might open it for a limited time again.
By the way, Actor's Café is a café where actors serve customers while playing a role and the cooking and desserts are something too.

Hello, everyone!

This is my first time being in charge of updating the blog. I am Muku Sakisaka from Summer Troupe.

Today is February 14, the long-awaited Valentine’s Day! Is everyone planning to give chocolate to someone? On Valentine’s Day, both boys and girls are being a little nervous at school, and I really like the atmosphere!

As your heart pounding with anticipation and anxiety, you open your shoe rack. And there you find a chocolate from that certain someone…! (It reminds me of the 53rd page of the third volume of “Chocolove Holic”!)

If we have our own shoe rack in the dorm, the moment when we open it may be exciting….! We can deliver our chocolate secretly without other person noticing….

Ah! But when I think about it again, the members of our theater company are all males…
And here I was thinking to ask Tetsuro-san, the person in charge of props, to make a shoe rack for everyone in the dorm…
It’d be like “After school☆Shoe Rack♪ Palpitating Great Strategy”....

Now that I think about it, I’ve never heard Tetsuro-san talk about his love experience!
Maybe I should muster up some courage and invite him to our tea party next time…♪

Furuuche-san'll probably be pretty mad when he finds out but~

So like, 2/22 yesterday was Takusu's birthday right~
Despite his tough looks he was born on Cat Day, that's super cute, yeah!?
It's too bad he's really more of a dog person tho~

Then I was talking to Itarun about it and we were like "we should get a happy bday pic of Takusu wearing Kuro's cat ears!"
So, on the topic of that....

OPERATION TASUKITTY

We recruited Hisohiso to help us carry out our plan, but
As soon as we slipped the ears on from behind, we were busted within seconds ><
It would've been Takusu kitty ear photo GET too if he'd just kept them on for a little longer~ (;O;)

He was like "no one wants to see me wearing kitty ears"
But what's he talking about~ Tons of people would like to see, right?
I'll take my revenge and try again next year, so wish us luck pls ♪

This Morning's Happening

Hello, this is Tsumugi Tsukioka from the Winter Troupe. This is my first time writing a blog post, so I'm a little bit nervous. I'm sorry if it's hard to read...

We held a stage play at the amusement park the other day. If there are any of you who happened to watch it, please let us know your thoughts.

During the play, I took on the role of Prince Candy while Itaru-kun from the Spring Troupe played Prince Macaron. We had so much fun on the stage that we somehow ended up unable to break character...

Even when we were in the washroom this morning, I told him, "Prince Macaron, you still have some bed head, you know." And then Itaru-kun responded to me in Prince Macaron's tone, "Prince Candy, this is on purpose." I think I'd like to play Prince Candy for a little bit longer.

Now that I think about it, Kazunari-kun from Summer Troupe and Banri-kun from Autumn Troupe were there and they laughed so hard. I think it'll become a running joke in the dorm for a while.

Spring has come already, huh. Since the season is changing, please take care of your health, everyone.

Spring Has Come

Hello. This is Chigasaki Itaru from the Spring Troupe.

Soon, it'll be "that" season.

......Yes, hay fever.

I'm lucky as I do not have hay fever but those infected by hay fever have it quite bad.

I would like to be able to avoid the hay fever, should I just stay shut in my room? But I'd yearn for the fresh air of spring if I did do that.

Ahh but, yesterday after practice, it was rare that everyone from Spring Troupe went out to eat. Because Citron insisted, we didn't have a choice. Sakuya and Tsuzuru said it was their first time eating sushi and as usual Masumi has his poker face on. Citron always ate shrimp while Chikage only ordered the expensive kind. As for me, I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon but still sampled other types as well.

It's nice when it's lively while eating at the dorms but occasionally indulging in extravagant food can also be a nice change.

Anyway, the adults paid for the food so don't worry.

Ah, I forgot something important.

Summer Troupe's fourth play "First Crush Baseball" is getting excellent reviews. Please support it.

The Secret Trick to April Fool's

I'm Tenma Sumeragi from the Summer Troupe.

Yesterday, April 1st, was April Fool's.
Every year in the company it turns into a bit of an event.

Who was fooled, or who did the fooling...
The dorms were in an uproar from early in the morning.

Kumon and Taichi were fooled the most.
I think the two of them must have been fooled about five times each.

Of course, I wasn't fooled.
Not once. Amazing, right?
That's because first thing in the morning, Chikage-san taught me a secret trick:
"If you say "OK" to all the April Fool's lies, they'll lose their effect."

So yesterday, I just answered "OK" to everything I was told.
Though I did hesitate a bit when Omi-san said, "I received a lot of carrots, so tomorrow's dinner menu will have a lot of carrots in it, but is that alright?"...

Speaking of April Fool's, Sakoda-san was saying, "I think I had a dream where everyone in MANKAI Company became a host!"
Our troupe members as hosts, huh...
There are people who'd probably be able to, or rather people who wouldn't seem out of place even if they did, but there are more people who'd make things turn dicey if they were hosts...
Well, if we're putting on a play it seems like it'd be fun, though.

...Now that this is written, it seems dinner is just about ready.

Blooming Season

This is Winter Troupe’s Yukishiro Azuma.
This is the time of year when new daily lives and new school years begin.

Sakuya, Banri, and Juza are all doing their best in their new environments, so I also wanted to challenge myself to do “something new”—a “first”—and tried writing this blog post.
Unlike a diary, a blog post is seen by many people, so I wasn’t sure what to write.
It’s my first time, so my writing might come off as a little stiff, but I hope everyone will go ahead and read it.

The cherry blossoms at the dorms reached full bloom the other day.
We need to make cherry blossom viewing plans as soon as possible so we can admire the flowers at their peak.
I should order some delicious sakura-mochi while I can.

By the way, a friend of mine who lives far away seems to have opened an inn; they sent me a direct mail saying, “Come visit any time.”
It’s supposed to be a very nice place surrounded by nature, so I hope I can visit along with everyone in the troupe.
Apparently there are famous cherry blossom viewing spots as well.

I hope everyone reading this also makes lovely spring memories.

Flower Viewing

This is Yuki Rurikawa from the Summer Troupe.

The Spring Troupe and the Winter Troupe are currently at a training camp.
I think the dorms are just a little quieter than usual.
Half the people aren't here, so that's only natural.

It's not particularly lonely or anything, so don't misunderstand me there.

Yesterday, the Summer and Autumn Troupes went flower viewing, but the cherry blossoms at the dorms are starting to fall, so it left us with a bit of a dissatisfied feeling.
Well, we do only have one cherry blossom tree, after all.

For the flower viewing, we just ate food and sweets...That sort of feel.
When I threw a frisbee to the Wan-Wan Combi they happily chased after it. They really are dogs.
Banri was recording a video, so I'll have him show me sometime.

Finally.
Thanks to all the people who came to see "First Crush Baseball".
The costumes were cute, right?
I don't make matching things much at all, so it was pretty fun making uniforms.

Spring and Winter Troupe went on a training camp together.

We had a flower viewing during training camp. I spent most of it sleeping with Hisoka.

We got scolded by Sakyo once we got back.
Even though we practiced hard and everything. Who knows why.

But there's other guys who go right ahead and post anyways, so I'll ignore that too.

Part-Time Zombie

Autumn Troupe, Settsu Banri.

Autumn Troupe and Summer Troupe went to this event called Zombie Run Night the other day.
It’s kinda like a game of… tag (?) where zombies chase guests around the amusement park.

Stuff happened, so Azami and I were both in it as zombies, but we seriously won way too easily.
I was honestly hoping they’d put up more of a fight.
But I got to see that old man freak out, so maybe it was worth it.

I guess it helped Autumn Troupe practice for our play, too.
Though I’m playing a human role.

Golden Week

Hello.
This is the Spring Troupe's Tsuzuru Minagi.

How do you all plan to spend Golden week?
This year, I plan to go home to my family again.
When I go back, I'll be spending a lot of time watching animated movies with my youngest brothers;
I'll be made to watch the same thing over and over again, until I can say the lines from memory......

But works targeted at children have a plot that's easy to understand, so it'll be good study for my scripts.
They're interesting for adults to watch too, so I recommend them to everyone.

This is about the troupe members other than me, but they've each made their own plans:
going home to family like me; working part-time jobs; going on trips; being guest performers in plays......
It looks like the troupe's group LIME will be as lively as ever during Golden Week.

I hope all of you have a fun Golden Week too.

The season for young, green leaves.
As we approach the first day of summer, the weather truly is perfect for early summer.
Though it's only been about a month since the trees in the courtyard changed into their green attire,
it seems we too must soon change into our next outfits......

However.
First is the Winter Troupe's fourth play.
What sort of thing will come next......The pounding of my heart grows from day to day.
So much so that I look enquiringly upon Tsuzuru-kun and the director's faces a hundred times a day.

Well, I shall await the completed script
while stringing together words with sensitivity and poetic inspiration,
and constantly supplying marshmallows in my spare time as usual.

To all of you who love MANKAI Company,

A Brush With Nature

Hello, this is the Summer Troupe's Muku Sakisaka.
How are you all spending your time?

I went on the training camp with everyong in the Summer and Autumn Troupes the other day ☆
This time it was...by Sakyo-san's design, a training camp on a deserted island!
(Taichi-kun was very dejected.
'It wasn't a celebrity trip!?' he said...)

At first when I heard we'd be going to a deserted island, my heart was pounding, but...
Doing things like gathering food for ourselves, catching fish,
bathing in a drum...
Practicing on the sand, too - they were things you can't often experience,
and we were able to come into contact with nature as well, so it was a very fulfilling training camp!

Speaking of which, I went to the movies with Omi-san before the training camp,
but the survival skills we saw there were very useful!
Omi-san worked out cooking techniques and flavourings too...
Our being able to eat delicious meals even on a deserted island
was all thanks to him.

On the final day, Sakyo-san arranged for us to stay at an inn!
We all went into the hot springs and had a pillow fight together...
It was kind of like a school trip, so we got a bit carried away,
but I'm glad we were able to make fun memories!

I wonder when the next training camp will be...
This time the Spring and Summer Troupes were split for their training camps,
but it'd be nice to be able to go with everyone someday...♪

Fourth Play

The Winter Troupe's Fourth Play, Le Fantôme de l'Opéra, is now showing.

It the first play with our new member, Guy-san.
'How can we make it better?'...The six of us are working on it by trial-and-error every day together.

There are lots of things that don't go well, or as we thought they would,
but we can still improve; there's room for growth...It's not bad to be able to think that.

I'd like you to come see the evolved Winter Troupe.

Our play marks the last of each troupe's fourth plays.
The Winter Troupe, too, will power through at full strength until the end.

The End of the Fourth Plays

Viewing Period: 3 Jun 18 to 5 Jun 18

Autumn Troupe, Banri Settsu.

With the Winter Troupe's play finishing up recently, all troupes' fourth plays have concluded.
Looking at it now that they're over, time passed in the blink of an eye.
Thanks for supporting us to the end.

Things have quietened down for most people now the plays are over,
but Tenma seems as busy as ever.

That guy's playing the lead in a drama series that's showing now;
apparently Taichi and Tsuzuru are really into it.
The two of them happened to be watching it last week,
so I watched it with them, but it was pretty interesting.
It's a time travel thing, so people who like that might be into it.

Speaking of, just the other day I was contacted
by someone involved with the fashion show I did at my university.
They said they had something they wanted to discuss,
but it'll be something about a fashion show or the like again.

I've been a model at request several times, but there's a surprising lot to learn.
How you carry yourself, and stuff; I'm going to put it to use lots in my acting, too.
Come watch our next play too, okay.

Rainy Day's Best Shot

Greetings. It's the Autumn Troupe's Omi Fushimi.

I'd thought of going to take pictures while touring for the first time in a while,
but unfortunately it was raining from morning, so I had to give up.
As I was considering giving in and doing a report at the dorms...
I was able to take a good picture in an unexpected place.

When I was young, I often scribbled like this with my younger brothers.
Basking in slightly nostalgic memories like this,
in the blink of an eye, everyone was following after Masumi and writing things,
so the dorm windows were full of scribbles, and it got pretty lively.

The Manager did cry that it'd leave marks, though...

During the rainy season, your laundry doesn't dry and it's hard to go out,
so it's a slightly troublesome season, but when you consider that there are these sorts of enjoyments too, it's not bad, huh.

Series Finale

Viewing Period: 14 Jun 18 to 16 Jun 18

It's the Summer Troupe's Tenma Sumeragi.

The last episode of the series I was playing the lead in
was broadcast just recently.

There are people who were surprised watching, right?
A number of people from our theatre appeared too, after all.

The members that appeared in the drama this time were all from different troupes,
but they have an air that's different again to that of the Summer Troupe;
acting with them was fresh and fun.

We usually stand upon the stage,
but it might be interesting to do a drama with our members at least once.
If it were the Summer Troupe, it'd be good to do a comedy as usual,
but having all the troupes appear might be nice too.

I don't know when this would happen, but......
Surely it's fine to just write it as a dream for the future.

If you were watching the drama this time,
I'd be glad if you could let me know your thoughts.
Of course, you can address them to the other members who appeared in the drama too.
I'm sure they'd all be happy.

Dorm life

Spring Troupe, Utsuki Chikage.
Doing a coin toss match with Sakuya is a daily routine but...
recently, the challengers increased.
The theatre company mascot (kind of) the parrot Kamekichi.
Since it is a bird, should I say it is one?
Because birds prefer shiny things, the obsession toward coins are outrageous and intense.
Even though I'm saying it is once a day, being persistent every day it is a bit troublesome.
He is such an impossible guy.
Yesterday, after the coin match just like that he finally relaxed on my lap.
When I noticed he was sleeping quietly.
... for the first time, I thought this guy was a bit cute.
Until now I haven't had many chances to come in contact with animals because of that.
Thinking something like that was a first and even I was a little surprised myself.
Talking about first times, there is one more:
Being Azami's hair and makeup practice partner.
I was told by Chigasaki "It's Gawain-like".
Seems like it is a character from the game "Knights of Round".
Being told I resemble a character, that too was a first.
Living in the dorms has a lot of 'first times'. It is fairly enthralling.
It looks like the fifth play preparation is gradually beginning.
I wonder what kind of performance it will be? Please look forward to it.

Tenma-san's Birthday!

It's the first blog post from Kumon Hyodo of the Summer Troupe!

Yesterday, 6/21, was our leader Tenma Sumeragi's birthday!
What a joyous occasion!

We held a surprise party with just the Summer Troupe
and after that we celebrated with everyone in the theatre,
but while Tenma-san complained, 'how much are you going to celebrate',
he looked suuuper happy~ (^^)
We took a photo to commemorate and I was thinking of showing all of you,
but he said we'd have to run it past his agency, so I'm posting this instead!

Bamboo decorations

Hello. It’s Tsumugi Tsukioka from winter troupe.

Today July 7th is Tanabata.

How is everyone spending the day?

I’m going to spend it with everyone from the theater, we are going to a festival in a certain town.

It is a bit far from the Veludo district but,
it has praiseworthy Tanabata bamboo decorations, and I assure you it is an amazing festival.



To tell the truth the other day, even in the dorms we were making bamboo decoration but Taichi-kun from autumn troupe made a lot of creative decorations.

Among those the one I was the most surprised about was this

Taichi-kun named it "Ultimate Phoenix".

It looks strong and cool right.

Thanks to that I feel like the dorms decoration value increased.

Star Festival

It's Autumn Troupe's Furuichi Sakyo.



A few days ago, some of us from the theater troupe got together

To volunteer at a festival, as well as put on a stage performance there.

This was in a town some distance away from our usual theater.



Even though everyone was helping out at various festival stalls, it seems that we all had a good time at the festival.

Citron somehow decided to bring back masks for the entire theater troupe,

So carrying those back home caused us no small amount of trouble...



Usually, we don't get many opportunities to help out at a festival.

So we thought it might be an exciting new experience to try.



On the festival stage, we put on a play with "Tanabata" as the theme.

Although we didn't get much time to rehearse beforehand, I feel that we delivered quite a polished performance.

The troupe members that participated were all very focused and acted well.



This performance waas meant to be a one-off event,

But I wonder if we could get the chance to perform it in theater one day?


I hope you will wait patiently for us until that day comes.

Lately   Kazu has been painting a big picture in the dorms.
He's using the storage room as his studio, and
It's really fun watching the canvas gain a bit more color every day~.
Kazu's paintings are rea~lly pretty   and they make my heart feel fluffy~ so
I hope lots and lots of people see them.

We're going to start preparing for Summer Troupe's fifth performance!

Can I talk about something serious for a sec (□_□)?

Truth be told, during this performance
I crashed into a huge personal turning point.
I didn't know what I should do, or what I should treasure
and put everyone in Summer Troupe through lots and lots of trouble.

But I came to realize that what I want to treasure isn't some day in the future
but the few hundred hours I spend standing on stage with everyone in Summer Troupe.

Rather than a choice that the future me won't regret,
I want to make a choice that the current me won't regret.

I'm so glad I could show lots and lots of people the choice that the current me made;
I'm so glad we made it through to the end!

Tenten, Yukki, Mukkun, Kumopi, and finally, Sumi~
I'm so lucky I get to be in Summer Troupe with everyone; I'm so happy we became friends!

Let's keep making the greatest stage together from here on out ☆

Summer Vacation

Hello. Autumn Troupe, Fushimi Omi here.

The hot days haven't let up lately, huh.
I'm not really the type of person who gets summer heat fatigue, but this heat is getting to me.

Iced sweets are really popular in the dorms, so I buy some every time I got out shopping, but
they're always gone in a flash.
When it's this hot, it seems like people prefer
refreshing popsicles over ice cream.

It might be time to get a shaved ice machine....
Though I'll need to consult Sakyo-san about it.

The students--including me--are all on summer vacation now, so
some of us are headed home or going on trips.
The dorms are always lively, so it makes me a little lonely
to think about how quiet it'll be with fewer people around.

I say that, but I'm also planning on heading home when I get the chance.
I want to see my dad and my little brothers; it's been a while.

Please take care and watch out for summer heat fatigue.
Make sure you drink enough water and take in salt to stay hydrated.

The Beach.

On our way back from a shopping mall that's a little far away
Kazunari and Kumon insisted on going to the beach, so
Tasuku, our driver, reluctantly took us there.

I didn't have my swimsuit, so I couldn't wade into the ocean,
and all we did was gaze at the beach and eat shaved ice, but
I guess it was a nice little break.
I was getting a little tired of making costumes, after all.

Oh, right. Kumon was writing something in the sand
so I tried to secretly snap a picture, but.



The waves immediately snatched it away.
When I said, you must've written "nii-chan" anyway,
he replied "it's a secret."

I wasn't particularly interested, but that irritated me a little.

Next time, I want to bring my swimsuit and have lots of fun.
Along with everyone in Summer Troupe, of course.
Since our team is full of guys who will complain and pout if they're left behind.

It's Been a While!

I'm Sakuya Sakuma from the Spring Troupe!

As announced the other day,
we participated in a mystery play on a luxury cruise ship!
It was an act that involved the audience,
so it was a different atmosphere to usual and I was a bit nervous...

It was the first time I'd been on a luxury cruise ship,
but the interior was beautiful too and there were lots of facilities.

I swam in the pool with everyone else who participated,
played basketball with them......there was a buffet and a dance party too;
it was sort of like I was in a different world. I was overwhelmed.

I'm grateful to Azuma-san, who gave me this valuable experience;
I was even able to make wonderful summer memories as well.
The next time there's an event like this,
do come join us if you like.

Ramen, Ramen, Ramen.

Autumn Troupe, Izumida Azami.

Ramen has been popular in the troupe lately.

Kumon started it by suggesting we create a ramen map.
We need to fulfill a quota, so we might be eating more ramen than curry right now.
Though some people go out of their way to find curry-style ramen.

I don't know how long we're going to be working on this ramen map, but
It looks like we're stuck eating nothing but ramen for a while.

Oh, that's right. Sakyo said we're getting ready for our next performance soon, so
We should mentally prepare ourselves, but...
That's my line.

Autumn Troupe's skincare reinforcement month begins tomorrow.

Autumn Troupe ends up sweating a lot from all the action scenes;
That's why, compared to other troupes, I put more effort into making sure our makeup stays on.

I'll make sure we end our final performance with our skin in top condition.

Summer trip.

It's the Winter Troupe's Azuma Yukishiro.
August is almost over...Were you all able to make summer memories?

Actually, I went on a trip to another country recently.
It's an island to the south where the ocean is really beautiful.
Of course, I used proper UV protection.

I hadn't traveled alone for a while, and it was nice that it was slow and relaxing,
...but it really is more fun to go with someone else.
Next time, I might invite someone in the company.

That's right. I'm not the type to take many photos while traveling,
but Kazunari said, "Send me a pair shot of you with the sunset!",
...so at his request, I took one.

But this time, my partner A~chan and everyone else in Autumn Troupe
Blew away that weak side of me
So I could stand proud at No. 0 until the final curtain call!

I’ve thought this so many times

I’m so glad I joined Autumn Troupe!

I’ll never, ever forget the view I saw, standing at No. 0 for the first time in my life

The Lead Role of September 9th

Hello.
This is Spring Troupe's Minagi Tsuzuru.

Yesterday, September 9th, was Autumn Troupe leader, Banri's birthday.
He's calmed down a lot compared to when he first joined the troupe, but
he still says things like, "You don't need to celebrate so many times in one day."
...I guess his not-so-honest character hasn't changed.

There's a birthday every month, so before we knew it,
we all began taking turns as the main organizers of each birthday party.
These two were in charge of yesterday's party.

This is right when
Ikaruga-san and Arisugawa-san were making Banri's favorite food, California rolls.
Though he made it futomaki-style because he doesn't like fish roe.....

For the birthday party, we all played games together.
Shooting games, board games—we covered all sorts of genres.
Some surprising people were really good at games,
and some people got hooked; it was such a lively event.
Seems like some members even played till morning.
Someone laughed, "The lead role became the games, not Banri," but
Banri himself was having fun, so I guess it's all-ok.

Once again. Banri, happy birthday.
Good luck with university life.

It's autumn.   The sky is pretty.
Did everyone go moon-viewing already~?
I viewed the moon many times this year!
Moon-viewing dango are round, but if you pile them up, you get a pretty △!
I always have trouble eating them because it feels like a waste~.

Oh, by the way, at the Rabbit-san shrine's festival,
me   Kazu   Tsuzuru   Itaru   Chikage
Juza   and Hisoka   the seven of us put on a performance.

Working together to put on a successful performance is
always reall~y fun!
But I'm a little sorry about something that I did, so
I hope I can stand on that stage next year too...

The priest of the shrine gave us a Rabbit-sama figure as a thank-you gift.
I wanted to give it to Chikage, but he said he already had
rabbit figures in his room, so he gave it to me~.
But guess what   this morning, we got an additional six figures from the priest, so
I'm going to give them to everyone who performed with me and Director-san!
We're all matching   it makes me happy △

I am a newcomer, but I hope we can get along.

This the first time I've written a blog.
I wasn't too sure what kind of sentences I was supposed to write, but
Yukishiro advised me that I should write as I usually do.

I don't understand what it means, but I trust that it is appropriate.

That was a long introduction, but... The other day, I went with the members of Winter Troupe
to see a performance that Takato was starring in.
His acting looked slightly different from his acting in Winter Troupe, but he was excellent.
Even I, a newcomer, could tell.
It was a rather large stage, but he still naturally gathered the audience's attention
with just one subtle line; that must be something other than skill.
I learned a lot from that, and I also simply enjoyed watching the stage.

I've heard we will start preparing for Winter Troupe's newest play soon.
I hope this experience will help make our performance a good one.

That's right. Citronia said that he wanted to do
a samurai comedy act with Minagi.

I've never heard of this sort of thing, but is it popular in Japan?
If anyone here is knowledgeable about comedy, please do let me know.

My school had its sports festival.
It's a pain, but everybody had to take part in at least one event,
so I entered in the bread eating race.
I don't remember what place I came in, but the bread I just happened
to take was curry bread, so that made me happy.

Also, I never told anyone about the sports festival,
but when I realized it, everyone in Spring Troupe came to watch.
Only parents and guardians are allowed in
but they said they got special permission.

They pestered me to upload a picture, so here.

I told them to go home once we finished eating lunch, but
they ended up staying till the results were announced, and because the team I was on won,
we all ate yakiniku together on our way home.

Concluding the Final Performance

The Winter Troupe's Fifth Play, 'Die by the Sword',
has smoothly completed its play run and concluded the final performance.
I am grateful from the bottom of my heart.

If I hadn't acted,
if I hadn't joined MANKAI Company,
I wouldn't have met the others in the Winter Troupe,
and I would have lived my whole life without wanting to act with them.

I'm not of the age or personality to believe in pretentious words like fate,
but everything that has happened since I joined MANKAI Company
might have been the result of that...is what I thought, quite uncharacteristically.

I was able to discover why I am staying at MANKAI Company and the reason I love acting
because I performed with the guys in the Winter Troupe.

I'm glad I encountered acting.
I love it.
I wonder how long it's been since I was able to think that without any reservations...

I haven't yet decided where I'll die as an actor,
but I think the scenery I'll remember last when I stop playing roles
will be one seen from MANKAI Company's stage.

Until that day comes, I'd like to aim even higher.
I'll be counting on your continued support.

Recently, whenever I go to the cake shop, there's been a ton of pumpkin flavored stuff.
I don't really get why but
Muku and Kumon said it's because it's almost Halloween.

I mentioned it to Omi-san
and he made me a ghost-shaped pumpkin cake.
I didn't mean for him to make me something, so I felt a bit bad but...
I ate it up gratefully.
I don't think there's anything that guy can't cook. It was delicious.

Which reminds me, I went to that Halloween festival with the guys from the MANKAI last year...
We dressed up and did street acts in pairs.
My partner was... Hisoka-san. I remember the two of us eating candy together.

I'm not sure if there's gonna be a Halloween festival again this year but
If there is, I think I'd like to join again.
