あと一つストライクを取ればリーグ優勝。
その場面でピッチャーを任されたオレは、その時……
トイレに駆け込んでいた。
桜高校野球部は地方大会一回戦でコールド負けに
なるような弱小チーム。部員も一人になり、
試合出場どころか部の存続もあやうい状況であった。
秋山は、部員集めに奔走していた。
