Izumi	Your theme is “Codependent Twins,” Muku-kun and Yuki-kun.
Izumi	I know it’s kind of early, but here’s the plot summary and script dialogue. Can you two review these?
Muku	Yes, understood.
Yuki	Wealthy twins born to a certain noble. They have always done everything together from a young age.

Muku	The lines are, “It’s because we’re being separated from one another,” and “From now on as well, we will always be together.”
Muku	It seems like a very interesting theme…!
Yuki	Yeah. Since I’m doing this with you Muku, I think we can create something unexpected.
Izumi	I’m looking forward to your pair performance, Muku-kun and Yuki-kun!

Muku	Please excuse my intrusion…
Yuki	You don’t have to be so deliberately formal. Tenma isn’t here today anyways.
Yuki	Let’s eat some snacks while finalizing the details of our pair performance.
Muku	Yeah. I bought a whole bunch of new snacks from the convenience store.
Yuki	Heh, looks good.
Yuki	Alright, let’s start by going over our theme, the plot summary, and then review the dialogue.
Yuki	The theme is, “Codependent Twins.”
Muku	To begin with, is codependency different from a close friendship? I thought they both meant to cherish one another.
Yuki	…That’s not technically wrong, but it doesn’t have a very positive meaning when you look it up.
Yuki	It’s like being excessively dependent on the other and only finding your own value within that relationship.
Muku	I see…These lines in particular definitely don’t seem very happy either.
Yuki	“It’s because we’re being separated from one another,” and “From now on as well, we will always be together,” huh.
Yuki	Then, it would be better for us to give it a dark ambiance until the very end.
Muku	Yeah, that sounds interesting. How should we portray their age? I think our age right now would be good…
Yuki	Yeah. But since we’re acting, wouldn’t it be better from them to be young looking until the very end? I feel like that’s something only we can do.
Yuki	The other Mankai members definitely wouldn’t be able to pull this off.
Muku	Fufu, you’re right. Since we’ll have to interchange the roles of an “older brother” and “younger brother,”… would it be a good idea to prepare a script?
Yuki	Well, doing that would be easier.

Yuki	…This is the general direction we’re heading in. I feel like we got a lot done.
Muku	Yeah. Now all that’s left is for us to continue to gather hints for our performance.
	[Later]
Yuki	(I’ve already bought the fabric I wanted, so I’ll just browse some clothes for a bit and then go home.)
Taichi	Huh!? Yuki-chan!
Yuki	Taichi.
Mirai	Wah—! It’s Yuki-chan!
Azami	Hey, you’re gonna fall if you run off like that.
Yuki	What are you three doing here?
Mirai	I’m on a date with A-chan today!
Taichi	Uuu…it was actually just supposed to be the two of us, but she said she wouldn’t go if A-chan didn’t come along too.
Yuki	Heh, good job socializing, Azami.
Azami	…Don’t just dismiss it with that
Yuki	What’re you getting shy about.
Azami	I-I’m not gettin’ shy.
Mirai	I really like that part about A-chan!
Yuki	Single minded ‘til the end, huh. Huh, wait, are you here with only Mi-chan?
Taichi	Ma-kun’s out on a play date with a friend today, so he couldn’t come. …Right! Since you’re here, why don’t you hang out with us, Yuki-chan?
Yuki	But this is a date, isn’t it? You sure?
Mirai	If Yuki-chan is hanging out with us, then it’s fine~
Yuki	If you say so.
	[Later]
Azami	…Sigh. She’s too powerful.
Mirai	Eh~ I only looked around the general store for a bit, and then I looked at some Western-style clothing, didn’t I? Right, Yuki-chan.
Yuki	Yeah.
Taichi	Mi-chan, let’s go choose a drink together.
Mirai	Eh…I want to sit here and wait with A-chan and Yuki-chan.
Taichi	What~!
Yuki	There seems to be various drinks, so go choose one with your Onii-chan. We’ll sit here and wait for you.
Mirai	…Ok! But, when I come back, I’m gonna sit in between A-chan and Yuki-chan!

Taichi	Then, we’ll be back in a minute!
Azami	…Having Taichi-san here really lowers the power dynamic.
Yuki	You can’t win against such a cute little sister, can you?

Yuki	(I know the roles this time are of a “older brother” and “younger brother”…but, it could be a good idea to play around with those roles a bit.)
Azami	Yuki-san, what’s wrong?
Yuki	…Nah, it’s nothing.

Izumi	Alright, let’s continue with Yuki-kun and Muku-kun’s pair performance.
Izumi	Your theme is “Codependent twins.” Go ahead and start whenever you’d like.
Muku	Ok!
Yuki	Got it.
Muku	I’m good whenever, Yuki-kun.
	[On Stage]
Younger Sister (Yuki)	—
Younger Sister	“Hey, Onii-sama. Listen. Our cousin says we’re weirdos.”
Older Brother (Muku)	—!
Izumi	(…I see. So Yuki-kun’s playing the role of a “younger sister.”)
Izumi	(Of course he’s using the first person pronoun for girls, but his performance is also completely that of a “girls.”)
Older Brother	“He meant that we have a good relationship with each other, didn’t he?”
Younger Sister	“Amazing…! How did you know?”
Older Brother	“That’s, something only you would know, right?”
Younger Sister	“It’s because we’re twins.”
Older Brother	“Exactly.”
Younger Sister	“And, it’s because we love each other! Right?”
Older Brother	"Yeah. It seems like you understand now.”
Older Brother	“It’s because we have each other, that we know these things. We understand each other the best, and are our only friend.”
Older Brother	“So, there’s no need for you to pay mind to the words of others, is there?”
Younger Sister	“Yes, yes, you’re right! Hey, Onii-sama! Let’s go horseback riding today, just the two of us!”
Older Brother	“Yeah, that’ll be nice. Let’s go out and buy a bunch of your favorite scones as well.”
	[Later]
Younger Sister	“Father and mother have gotten a divorce…!? Why!?”
Older Brother	“It seems as though one of mother’s relatives was involved in a corrupt incident. Therefore, father is severing his relations in order to not suffer any damage.”
Younger Sister	“That can’t be…! What will happen to us, then?”
Older Brother	“Don’t worry, everything will be alright. It is not as though we have done anything wrong.”
Younger Sister	“…Yes, yes!”
	[Later]
Older Brother	“…Why do we have to be separated as well!?”
Younger Sister	“That’s right, we didn’t even do anything!”
Older Brother	“We don’t have to live the luxurious life we have been living up until now. As long as I have my younger sister with me, it’ll be enough.”
Younger Sister	“I do not need anything else as long as I have Onii-sama with me. So, please! Let us stay together!”
Younger Sister	“Selfish…? Us…?”
Older Brother	“…Saying we are the selfish ones, if anything you are the—"
	[Hitting Sounds]
Younger Sister	“Uwaaaa!!”
Older Brother	“!? You, what are you—“
Younger Sister	“*panting*”
Younger Sister	“It’s because we’re being separated from each other.”
Older Brother	“…Aah, I see. I’m glad you decided to do this from the beginning. Here, I’ll carry that for you.”
Younger Sister	“Do you, hate me now…? I’m sorry. I’m sorry! Please don’t hate me!”
Older Brother	“Don’t worry. I love you.”
Older Brother	“So, could you give me that fire hook. I don’t want your hands to be contaminated with blood.”
	[More Hitting]
Older Brother	“Fu—!”
Older Brother	“Now we’re matching.”
Younger Sister	“Onii-sama…!”
Older Brother	“From now on as well, we will always be together.”
Younger Sister	“Yes! Always always!”
Older Brother	“We have been together from the moment we were born and will be together until the moment we die.”
	[Off Stage]
Muku & Yuki	Thank you very much!
Izumi	Good work, you two! I wasn’t expecting that from Yuki-kun’s role, but it was really interesting.
Younger Sister	Thanks.
Muku	I definitely wasn’t expecting the “younger sister” role, so I was also really surprised. When did you think of it?
Yuki	It came to me when I was watching Taichi’s and Mi-chan’s…his sister’s dynamic a while ago.
Taichi	Eh!? Was that it!?
Yuki	I assumed they were regular brothers since the script was using “Boku” to refer to them, but since Muku’s my partner, I thought a younger sister would be more interesting.
Yuki	It was a spur of the moment decision, so thanks for going along with it.
Muku	No no. It was because your performance was that good, Yuki-kun.
Izumi	(Yuki-kun’s expressive power and Muku-kun’s capability to respond really helped further refine their pair performance.)
	[Later]
Izumi	Alright, the next Check Photograph will be of Muku-kun and Yuki-kun. Doing a pose that follows the role you played would be easy to do, don’t you think?
Yuki	Yeah, I think that‘s fine.
Muku	Then, something like this would be good.
