Actor's Cafe OPEN
Backstage Stories
Tenma: Alright, everyone’s gathered here.
Tsumugi: Well then, I’d like to start the leader’s conference now.
Sakuya: Yes! I look forward to working with you!
Banri: Director-chan’s taking part today as well huh.
Izumi: Yup, actually there’s a little something I’d like to talk to everyone about……for the time being, here.
Tenma: What’s with this paper bag? The contents is……an apron?
Banri: Seems like it. It looks more of a cafe apron though.
Tsumugi: Is that an outfit?
Izumi: Does everyone know about the “Actor’s Cafe”?
Izumi: All the staff are actors which serve customers daily, in other words, a cafe.
Banri: Oi Oi, wait a minute director-chan……in other words, this apron.
Tenma: I can’t help but have a bad feeling about it……
Tsumugi: Err, could it be that……
Sakuya: Wow, seems interesting!
Izumi: As expected of a leader, that was a great guess!
Tenma: That’s not it! Why us!?
Izumi: Actually, I’m acquainted with the owner of that cafe but it seems like they’ve run short on personnel due to some circumstances……
Izumi: I was asked to send actors to fill in.
Izumi: Please! I’ll be going down to help out on the day itself too!
Sakuya: I don’t mind at all! I’ll do my best!
Tenma: Honestly……why do I have to do such a thing……
Izumi: Come on, since you’re going to be serving in this setting, this can become a part of practice as well.
Tsumugi: Haha, now that you’ve said it, that might be so. Alright, I’ll do my best too.
Banri: Well I guess things will work out one way or another if it’s just working at a cafe. You can do those things with ease.
Tenma: Haa……no choice huh. Alright.
Izumi: Thanks! I’ll be relying on you, everyone!
Kazunari: Uwaa! Settsu, aren’t you way too good at “Puzzle Mitt”! Your score’s real scary—!
Banri: This much ain’t much isn’t it. Sides’ there are tricks to this. For example this puzzle's……
Kazunari: Hm Hm, I see~
Izumi: Oh, there he is. Banri-kun, this is your role for tomorrow’s cafe.
Banri: Wait a lil’, I’m close to clearing this.
Kazunari: Come to think of it, settsu, were you working in a cafe tomorrow again?
Banri: ……Right. Err, what role am I gonna play as tomorrow…… it’s “the childhood friend”?
Kazunari: It’s the best of the best, isn’t it! Good for you!
Banri: Well, it’s a setting which you often hear of.
Kazunari: By the way, Settsu, do you have anyone who’s like a childhood friend to you?
Banri: No. I never had such a person.
Izumi: I see. You’ll have to rely on your imagination then.
Kazunari: I don’t have a childhood friend either~ But it’s something I’ve really always wanted —!
Banri: A childhood friend……Ahh, come to think of it, there’s actually someone who could be of reference.
Izumi: (Oh right, Tsumugi-san and Tasuku-san!)
Izumi: That’s true! We’ll, I’ll be leaving the playing of the role to you then!
Banri: Right.
Banri: Alright. Then, it’s bout’ time I leave too.
Kazunari: See ya~☆
Taichi | Thank you for the food! |
Sakyo | Hyodo, pass the salt. |
Juza | Right. |
Izumi | Mm, Omi-kun’s tuna omelettes are really delicious after all! |
Omi | Really? I’m glad that you like it. |
Banri | ……Here, take this. |
Izumi | Huh? |
Banri | I’ll give you the cherry. You liked it ever since back then, didn’t you. |
Sakyo | Aah? ……Since back then? |
Izumi | ……Err, thanks. Did you hate cherries again? |
Banri | No, it’s today’s practice. |
Izumi | Today's……oh it’s your role of the childhood friend! |
Omi | Oh, so that was what it is. Come to think of it, you were going to help out in the cafe today huh. |
Taichi | We can’t go since we have stuff to do today~! Uu~ I wish I could see Ban-chan playing as the childhood friend! |
Omi | It’s a pity but I have something I must get done by today as well. What about you, Juza? |
Juza | ……I have stuff to do. |
Sakyo | I have work. |
Izumi | Is that so ?That’s too bad…… |
Banri | Oh— don’t come, don’t come. Good thing that you guys have things to do today. |
Taichi | No way! Ban-chan should be feeling more lonelier~! |
Banri | There’s no way I’d be lonely wouldn’t I! |
Izumi | Alright! The preparations for the store’s opening was finished rather quickly, thanks Banri-kun. |
Banri | Oh……there’s still time. Wait a lil’, director-chan. |
Izumi | (??? Banri-kun went to the kitchen but……) |
Banri | Here, how’s this. |
Izumi | Amazing, it’s latte art! The bear’s so cute! |
Banri | I remembered how to do it from the net yesterday. |
Izumi | As expected of Banri-kun, you’re really good with your hands. |
Banri | Oh, my role as the great childhood friend? It’s already well perfected. |
Izumi | I’m not worried about that. |
Right, since there’s still a little more time left, how about you try practicing a little?
Banri | Oh— okay. Then from now on, director-chan will be my childhood friend. |
——Oi Oi, you’re ordering Cappuccino again? Ah, I already know that you’re adding a cake to go along with it
You’ve really been that way ever since you were little. Should I say that you’re childish or that you’re someone I can’t leave alone.
Izumi | (Yup yup, it’s going well.) |
Banri | But……you’ve recently become pretty. |
Izumi | Eh, really? Thanks. |
Banri | You might not have noticed it but I’ve always been watching over you. |
Izumi | (Hmmm? The direction of the conversation is somewhat……) |
Banri | You know, the both of us aren’t kids anymore. |
Izumi | (I-I’m being kabedon-ed!?) |
Banri | It’s about time you look at me as a guy. |
Izumi | Stop! |
Wait a minute Banri-kun, where did you pick this up!?
Banri | Ah? From the shoujo manga Muku lent me. If you’re talking about childhood friends then Shoujo manga is the way to go, isn’t it. |
Izumi | So that’s where!? I thought you’d take Tsumugi-san or Tasuku-san as your reference…… |
Banri | No— I can’t take them as reference can’t I, they’re not normal. |
I’ve also learnt many other things. Such as……
It’s not enough being your childhood friend. Stay by my side from now on and forever.
Izumi | !? |
Banri | Say, isn’t it about time we fulfill……that promise of marriage back when we were little? |
Izumi | Stop stop! This won’t work! It’ll turn out to be a host club instead of a cafe at this rate! |
??? | Ban-chan’s dangerous……! |
Banri | !? |
Juza | ………… |
Sakyo | You……what are you doing…… |
Izumi | E-Everyone!? Since when!? |
Omi | Haha, Sakyo-san’s making an expression that says he’s gonna kill a certain someone. |
Banri | I thought you guys said that you weren’t coming! |
Taichi | Surprise~!! |
Omi | We thought that we’d come by secretly and surprise you. But I never would have thought that we’d be the first in line. |
Taichi | It’s seriously so cool~~!! I want to get Kabedon-ed by Ban-chan! It would be great reference! |
Oh right! How about everyone in the Autumn Troupe each get a kabedon by Ban-chan!?
Banri | Hah!? |
Juza | I’ll beat you up with all my might. |
Omi | Haha, I want to try it out once! |
Sakyo | Rejected. |
Banri | Who’d do that to you guys!! |
