- ↑ Tenma's used the word "む。。。べし" since he's reading "The Chronicle of Yoshitsune".. I just assumed he's misreading Musashibo Benkei's name .
- ↑ 義経記" (Gikieki) or "The Chronicle of Yoshitsune” is a Japanese war-tale about the legends of Minamoto no Yoshitsune and his followers.
- ↑ Gojo Ohashi is a bridge in Kyoto. The bridge is best-known as the site of Minamoto no Yoshitsune's encounter with Musashibo Benkei.
- ↑ "薄墨の笛" ( Usuzumi no fue) literally translated as 'thin-ink flute' is a famous flute owned by Yoshitsune as it is tied with his first encounter with Musashibo Benkei. The flute is currently located at Teifune-ji Temple in Shizuoka Prefecture.
- ↑ Citron used the word " フナ" (funa) or crucian carp which sounds very close to Japanese word for flute or "笛" (fue).
- ↑ Citron used the word "ドタバタ" (dotabata) which means slapstick. Director corrected his word to "井戸端会" (iwabata kaigi), a word to describe gossip meetings where people who lives in the same area gather around to share small talks and gossips.
