| First you draw the design. I usually draw mine in this sketchbook. | |
| I come up with designs and draw them based on the image of each role, then from there I go about editing the shape, color, and patterns for each section… | |
| I like to think about which fabric I want to use. Then I draw out a few patterns and choose the one I like best. | |
| Azuma | I see… It’s easy to understand now that I’m actually watching. |
| I’ve always seen finished costumes, this is the first time I’ve ever seen so many roughs… | |
| It’s a bit refreshing to get a closer look at your sketchbook like this. | |
| Yuki | Yeah, not many people get the chance to see it. |

| Yuki | The shape is basically done. All that’s left to decide is the fabric and the color. |
