- ↑ No idea what this is supposed to be a reference to or if I even interpreted this right. Assuming that I translated this right though, Thoreau would be a reference to the American philosopher and abolitionist Henry Thoreau, and the name Holly being a way to avoid stating his name directly.
- ↑ Tarte tatin is a caramel apple tart, balalaika a Russian instrument, and Aphrodite the Greek goddess of all things related to love. What do they share? Being sweet, maybe.
