Mini Conversations/Hisoka Mikage/New Year! Red and White Kakushigei Tournament

Practice Conversation 1

Hisoka	For the Kakushigei tournament… I’m going to do ventriloquism.
	Ventriloquism is playing as 2 people on your own. So, if you change your voice and way of speaking, it’s as if you’re having a conversation with each other.
	Since I’m using Arisu’s doll, I got told to practice imitating Arisu.
	Speaking as 2 people as one seems pretty hectic, and it’s Arisu’s doll, no less.
	It seems like Masumi is also doing ventriloquism using Tsuzuru’s doll so--
	I thought of practicing with him to discuss and show off our techniques to each other.

Practice Conversation 2

Hisoka	Omi cut papers into different shapes with scissors. It’s practice for the upcoming Kakushigei tournament where he’s gonna do the paper-cutting craft.
	Sewing is one of Omi’s specialties, so with his dexterous hands, he’s great at cutting papers.
	Looks like he can make small talk even while cutting. But, he still tends to focus on his work.
	He said he can’t cut anything too difficult, but the cat and dog shapes he made were really cute.
	He told me he wants to cut a Kamekichi shape well. Once it’s done, I wanna see it...

Practice Conversation 3

Hisoka	Haa… I can see my breath… I can see the Director’s breath, too.
	I always sleep and practice etudes in the courtyard but… With the piled-up snow, it kinda looks different.
	The pure whiteness is sparkling. The courtyard in this state might be good once in a while.
	Director, you’re gonna build a mini snowman? ...If so, I’ll help out.
	It’s done.
	Fufu… The snowman is smiling sweetly, it’s very cute. Building it was fun.
	It’s starting to get a bit chilly, should we head back inside?
	...Yeah. Let’s drink hot cocoa with marshmallows at the lounge together, that’ll warm us up.

Hisoka & Tsuzuru Talk

Tsuzuru	Does Mikage-san have the New Year holidays off?
Hisoka	Yeah. Guy’s bar is also closed for the New Year. But reservations have been made at the end and beginning of the year, it seems quite hectic.
Tsuzuru	That’s true. Those kinds of establishments do get busy at this time of year.
	I’ve done a bunch of different jobs during the New Year holidays.
	Jobs like part-time at restaurants and ski resort stalls. And I also took on shrine helping jobs.
Hisoka	Before I started helping out at Guy’s bar, I would help with sales in the New Year holidays.
	This time, Misumi’s gonna go help out a theme park.
Tsuzuru	I see.
	I’m going back home for New Year’s Eve but--
	I can go if it’s after New Year, so feel free to call me if you need more people at the store. I’ll help out behind-the-scenes.
