Prologue
Avant: One Day in the Future

Sakuya	(The empty theater slowly grows warmer with everyone’s enthusiasm. A full audience. I can sense the anticipation and quiet excitement, even from behind the curtains.)
	(This is our final performance. I want to show everyone all the work we’ve put into this. My knees are almost shaking from nervousness and anxiety.)

Masumi	.....
Sakuya	(Masumi-kun is as calm as always. He’s so different from me.)
Tsuzuru	.....
Sakuya	(Tsuzuru-kun has been reading the script this whole time, but he’s not going to suggest we make changes to our lines again at this point in time, right?)

Itaru	.....
Sakuya	(Itaru-san seems a little nervous too. I need to be a reliable leader.)
Citron	.....
Sakuya	(As usual, I have no idea what Citron-san is thinking, but he seems relaxed.)

Sakuya	.....
	(We’ll be all right. There were so many times I thought we’d fail, but we made it this far. We finally made it here.)
	(My heart is shaking. The bud in my heart feels like it’ll swallow everything—nervousness, anxiety, excitement—and burst open.)
	(I’m so excited that I want to laugh. Today must be the day we’ll fully bloom for the first time.)

	Isn’t that right, Director...!
Tsuzuru	I wanna bloom.
Masumi	Let me bloom.
Citron	I want to bloom.
Itaru	You’re going to let me bloom, right?
Sakuya	Please make us bloom—Director!

Someday in the Future

Sakuya	(The empty theatre is slowly being heated up by the enthusiasm of the visitors. All seats are sold out. You can feel the anticipation and quiet excitement, even from behind the curtains.)
	(This is the last play. After everything we have done until now, I want to do my best. My knees are shaking from nervousness and anxiety.)

Masumi	......
Sakuya	(Seems like Masumi-kun is cool as always. Really different from me.)
Tsuzuru	......
Sakuya	(Tsuzuru-kun is still reading the script, but at this point he can't say we need to change the lines, right?)

Itaru	......
Sakuya	(Looks like Itaru-san is a bit nervous too. As the leader, I'll have to do something about that.)
Citron	......
Sakuya	(As usual, I have no idea what Citron-san is thinking, but he seems relaxed.)

Sakuya	......
	(Don't worry. I thought we would fail so many times, but we made here. We finally made it here.)
	(My heart is trembling. As I take in all the nervousness and anxiety and excitement, I feel like the flower bud inside my chest begins to open.)
	(I'm so excited I want to laugh. Surely, today is the day we'll be able to be in full bloom.)

Sakuya	Right, Director...!
Tsuzuru	Make us bloom.
Masumi	Let us bloom.
Citron	I want to bloom.
Itaru	You can make us bloom, can't you?
Sakuya	Please... make us bloom, Director!
