KazunariSo we’re really meeting with Kuraki-sensei again~
TsuzuruIt’s a good thing you didn’t have any other schedule for today, Miyoshi-san.
KazunariI’ve been excited for it! Thanks for inviting me!
TsuzuruIf you wanna thank anyone, you should thank Azami and Shifuto for pitching us in.
KazunariHaha, you’re right.
But wow, what a small world after all, amirite?
TsuzuruShifuto was apparently disappointed he couldn’t meet up today since he had rehearsals scheduled.
KazunariSo Tsuzuroon, were you that close with Kuraki-sensei? It didn’t seem like he ever became your homeroom teacher even once…
TsuzuruEh, have I never mentioned it? I was part of the theatre club when I was a freshman there. Only a temporary member though.
KazunariNo way?! So that’s it!
TsuzuruWell, I didn’t become a full member in the end.
KazunariI see…
TsuzuruPretty sure he never became your homeroom teacher either, did he, Miyoshi-san?
KazunariHe didn’t, but I would talk to just about most of the teachers back in high school, soooo~
TsuzuruI see. I guess considering your communication skills, that would’ve been it…
TsuzuruKuraki-sensei, long time no see.
KazunariSensei, how’ve you been~!
KurakiLong time no see, you two. It’s good to see you’re both doing well.
TsuzuruI was really surprised when I first heard about Shifuto’s request— after all, it’s been so long.
KurakiI merely caught wind that the two of you were part of MANKAI Company.
TsuzuruIs that so?
KurakiI’m the advisor for the theatre club, after all. Of course, I would look up what’s been happening in the scene.
Still, I never would’ve imagined it’d be you, Minagi. Let alone Miyoshi along with you.
KazunariAhaha, you surprised?
KurakiOn the contrary. I was surprised at first, but knowing you, you would try your best with anything you would set your mind to.
I never thought it was out of place for you, not even a bit.
KazunariSensei… You really paid that much attention to me!?
KurakiBut to see you reach even the Fluer Special Award… I’m really glad to see how far you’ve gone. Both of you.
Tsuzuru…Thank you. But we still have a long way to go.
KurakiMinagi. Is theatre fun?
Tsuzuru… Very fun, yes.
KurakiI see. That’s good to hear.
That time when you were just a temporary member and came to tell me you would give up on the club… The truth is, I wanted to stop you.
But since it was because of family matters, I didn’t want to intervene.
TsuzuruSensei….
Kazunari
KurakiBut I truly am relieved to see you having fun now. I intended to ask you if you wanted to really do acting back then.
TsuzuruThank you, but please, you don’t have to worry that much about me.
Kazunari…Ah! Speaking of, isn’t Fuko High going to have its Setsubun Festival soon?
KurakiOh yes, we will. But because it’s the kind of event where people can participate if they choose to, there have been fewer and fewer active participants over the years. It’s been much harder to liven up the festival with so few contributors.
KazunariReally?
TsuzuruI guess when people think of Setsubun, you’d usually just think as far as throwing beans to ward off spirits, or just eating beans and ehomaki.
KazunariI, for one, loved it! Throwing beans to whoever is playing the oni was always lots of fun~!
TsuzuruNow that I think about it, I do recall seeing someone throwing beans with real gusto back then…
… Actually, Sensei, I just thought of this now, but…
KurakiWhat is it?
TsuzuruWhat about making a Setsubun-themed play for the festival? I think that would help liven it up, but what do you think?
KazunariOoh, nice idea, Tsuzuroon!! That would definitely pep people up! You should do it, Sensei!
KurakiThat’s true… It did come to mind to me once, but… The theatre club has just one slight problem that prevents us from doing a performance.
TsuzuruOne problem…?
