Practice Conversation 1[edit]
Tenma | Hey, Director, do you know whose foreign language book this is? |
It was left on the bench over there.
I think someone left it behind…
But it looks like something that was borrowed from a library.
It’s about foreign languages so I thought it might be Chikage-san's, but it’s a book on memorizing different kinds of vocab.
That’s true, one of the university students might’ve borrowed it to use for an assignment.
The guy who borrowed this book might be looking for it.
It can’t be helped, I’ll search for its owner. |
Practice Conversation 2[edit]
Misumi | Ahh, it’s Tenma~. |
Tenma | Hey, does this book look familiar to you? |
Misumi | A foreign language book~? Nope, no idea. |
Muku | I don’t think I’ve seen it before either… but why do you ask? |
Tenma | It looks like someone misplaced it. I’m looking for its owner right now. |
Misumi | Oh, I see. You’re kind, Tenma~. |
Muku | It’s not English, but maybe it’s one of the university student’s? |
Tenma | It looks like a book that was borrowed from a library. |
So I thought that has to be it too.
Muku | A foreign language book, huh… I also look at foreign picture books at the library from time to time. |
Misumi | I search for different kinds of triangle books at the library sometimes too~. |
Foreign photograph and study books are full of triangles~.
Muku | It sounds really fun searching for triangles in books from overseas too! |
Misumi | If I find out who borrowed that book, I’ll let Tenma know too, ‘kay? |
Muku | Yes, me too. |
Tenma | Yeah, thanks for that. |
Misumi | I sure hope you find the owner of the book~. |
Practice Conversation 3[edit]
Kazunari | Huh~, what’s up, Tenten? |
Tenma | Was this book borrowed by you guys? |
Kumon | !! |
Yuki | It wasn't me. |
Kazunari | Me neither. Was that left somewhere? |
Tenma | Yeah. |
As I thought, it’s one of the other university student’s…
Kumon | That book! T-that’s the book I borrowed! |
Tenma | ! It was a book that Kumon borrowed? |
Kumon | …I was looking at it in the courtyard a while ago and forgot about it… |
Sorry, Tenma-san! Thanks for bringing it over!
Yuki | Wait, why a foreign language book? |
Are you using it in class?
Kumon | That’s not it, but, um… |
I wanted to know some cool foreign words…
And I was thinking like, “this is sounds like a spell—so cool”, and “I wanna say this too”!
Tenma | Oh, it’s like that, huh? |
Yuki | It’s here, the chuunibyou. |
Kazunari | I see~! But I get how you feel too! |
It’s super hype knowing foreign words, right?
Sometimes, in order to think up designs, I read lots of different books too and the image in my mind grows~!
Kumon | Yeah, yeah! I know, right! |
Yuki | Well, I understand that feeling too. |
Tenma | Alright, I’m glad we know the owner now. |
Case closed. | |
Kumon | Hehe, thanks a ton, Tenma-san! |
Tenma & Hiro Talk[edit]
Hiro | Do you go out together with the guys from Summer troupe too? |
Tenma | Yeah. We match our schedules and go out to various places and events. |
I’ve been busy with work, so we haven’t had many chances to go out to those kinds of places though.
There’s lots of things I experienced for the first time with those guys.
Hiro | Ah, I see. |
How nostalgic; I used to go here and there with the guys from the first generation Summer troupe too.
We went out to prepare for our roles sometimes, but other times, we simply went to play around.
It was fun and I remember those times well.
Tenma | Yeah, me too. They’re noisy, but it’s fun. |
But sometimes they pull pranks on me.
Like they tease me with lies, or surprise me with pinwheel fireworks…
Hiro | What, you too! I got done in by those first generation guys all the time too. |
Like they put weird masks on me, gave me nonsensical presents, pulled practical jokes…
Tenma | I feel you, I feel you all too well. |
Hiro | They went all out, even at those times. |
Good grief, those guys.
Tenma & Hiro | *Sigh*... |
