Practice Conversation 1[edit]
Kumon | When I read the script, I thought that I could really relate to Sora. |
That’s why I’m glad to play Sora’s role. As the co-lead, I’ll give it my all and work hard!
Being able to dance with everyone, it’s super hyped-up and mega fun!!
There’s also a scene where we do a freestyle dance.
Ummm… What kind of thing would be good for that?
Ah right! Maybe it’ll be interesting to try adding baseball motions or karate poses!? Should I try consulting Guy-san?
Watching things like dance videos together with everyone,
Practicing, and also thinking about role making…
Hehe, I want to work hard, I want to do it,
And I’ll have fun; I’m full of all these feelings—! |
Practice Conversation 2[edit]
Kumon | In the courtyard, Sakuya-san was practising singing nursery rhymes. |
He said he’s singing various songs at his part-time job at the day-care. He’s also been practising songs with hand motions[1].
Tsuzuru-san also taught us a new song using hand gestures!
He was saying it’s popular with the kids.
Just listening to the story makes you warm, right?
Sakuya-san is really kind,
And he’s definitely really popular with the kids too, right~. |
Practice Conversation 3[edit]
Kumon | We're home~! |
Outside was hot, huh~. | |
Director too, good job with the shopping!
Actually, I have something nice prepared in the fridge.
Tah da—h, fizzy soda! | |
It’s perfectly chilled. Director, let’s drink it together!
Add ice, and fill the glass~.
Alright, cheers! | |
…Fwahh, it’s tasty! | |
Hehe, somehow this feels like summer!
The soda that I drink together with Director,
I feel like it tasted better than usual!
Omi-san told me about this,
But he said that there are recipes for mixing carbonated drinks!
Next time I’ll make that, so let’s drink it together, ‘kay! |
Kumon & Homare Talk[edit]
Homare | Dance, hm… How nice, I also like dancing. |
I’m especially good at ballroom dancing.
Kumon | When we went to Homare-san’s villa for our training camp, |
Everyone danced together at the after party, right!
Homare-san, you were really skilled at the steps and stuff,
And you were really cool!
Homare | Hm Hmm, is that so? |
However, I’m interested in the dance Kumon and you all will be dancing this time as well. And of course in various other dances too.
The tap dance Winter troupe danced for our revue was indeed good experience as well.
Kumon | That tap dance was amazing too~! |
Homare | If the opportunity arises, I would also like to try dancing dances of differing genres as well. |
Ah right, perhaps it would be good to try holding a dance party where everyone enjoys a variety of dances.
Belly dancing or Cossack dancing, ballet or flamenco,
To form a circle holding hands, and dance a folk dance…
Kumon | What’s that, it seems super fun! I wanna do it too! |
Homare | Umu, then by all means, shall we dance together? |
It seems a brand new poem will also spring forth! |
Anna
Notes[edit]
- ↑ The Japanese term is "手遊び歌" (te asobi uta) which are essentially the type of songs you sing with children that have have hand gestures or motions accompanying them. Some English examples would be: "If you're happy and you know it", "Head, shoulders, knees and toes", "Itsy bitsy spider", etc.
