Mini Conversations/Hisoka Mikage/Senribana Monogatari

From A3! Wiki

Practice Conversation 1[edit]

HisokaFukumaru, who I play, is a role who’s good at tumbling, doing backflips, and what’s called “turning a tombo”[1] in Kabuki.
I think I’m relatively good at things like that, but there’s a scene this time where I help Citron do them too.
I can do them myself, but I haven’t really assisted others much, so I’ll practise properly together with Citron.
Also, Fukumaru treats Sahul harshly at first, but starts helping him out in the middle.
Citron was saying that kind of tsundere side might resemble Tenma, so I think I’ll try using him as reference.

Practice Conversation 2[edit]

HisokaDuring the day, Tsumugi and Tasuku were holding a study session in the courtyard.
It was preparation for the story of the Kabuki performance that’s going to be broadcast.
They said it was because we would enjoy it more if we knew about the synopsis, characters and setting of the play.
I was listening in for a bit too, and Tsumugi’s explanations were really easy to understand.
It sounds like Tsumugi’s going to interpret the difficult lines for us as we watch it as well.
Since it’s a good chance, I guess I’ll watch it together with them…

Practice Conversation 3[edit]

HisokaThey’re selling fruits and sweets around here.
It looks like they also let you sample them.
…This candy is sweet and tasty.
Do you like this one too, Director?
…So do I. I’ll buy a few.
I bought some marshmallows and sweets when I went out with everyone in Winter troupe, and those tasted really great too.
I’m sure you’ll like them, Director.
I’ll share them later.
Will you share the sweets you bought as souvenirs with me too, Director?
Thanks. Then let’s exchange them and eat them together.
Guy got advice from Mika, and he said he’s considering adding more items to the dessert menu at his bar.
I’ll do my best so I can dish them up nicely too.

Hisoka & Masumi Talk[edit]

HisokaThis napping spot that Citron told us about…
It’s really great.
MasumiI like it too.
It’s quiet and the breeze feels nice.
HisokaThere’s also the nice scent of incense.
This blanket Citron lent us feels great and I like it too.
MasumiSpeaking of which, he said we can bring this blanket back as a souvenir.
HisokaEven back at the dorm, if we light some incense in the courtyard and use this blanket to sleep, it can feel like we’re taking a nap in Zafra.
Something like that might be nice from time to time.
MasumiTrue, that’s not bad.
Then I’ll ask Citron about these incense later too.
HisokaThanks.
*Yawn*… Let’s nap already.
MasumiYeah…
HisokaGood night…
Zzz, zzz…
MasumiZzz, zzz...

Notes[edit]

  1. "とんぼを返る" (tombo wo kaeru: turning a tombo). A "tombo" is a Kabuki term meaning a style of mid-air somersault/flip a character performs when they are cut or defeated during a tachimawari (a fight scene). There are several different types and variations of "tombo".
