Practice Conversation 1

Banri	I never thought we’d get a request for a kakushigei^[1] performance.
	On top of that, it’s a match between the red and white team, huh?
	Well, the kakushigei tournament’s an annual tradition and sometimes it’s interestin’ to perform in front of a huge audience.
	I’m thinkin’ ‘bout which trick to show off.
	I was reluctant, but since I became the leader of the red team, I think it might be better to do it all flashy.
	We’ll liven up the year-end fair with all kinds of different tricks.
	Naturally, the red team’ll come out on top.
	Look forward to it too, aight, Director-chan.

Practice Conversation 2

Banri	I knew Azuma-san could dance Japanese dance, but as I thought, he's pretty pro at it. I felt that all over again when we were practisin’ dancing side-by-side.
	His movements, all the way to the tips of his fingers, are measured and beautiful, and the air around him is elegant.
	The priest who was training us was also impressed.
	I think this way ‘bout his acting too, but that aura that Azuma-san has is his strength.
	Even though I can’t imitate that vibe easily, I learn a lot from his movements and gestures, and I can use ‘em as reference.

Banri	Good job, Director-chan.
	The kakushigei tournament was really exciting, huh?
	All the tricks were interestin’, and I’m glad you look like you enjoyed them too.
	You were impressed with my trick too?
	That much was nothin’.
	Well, if Director-chan liked it then maybe I should give another new trick a try.
	Director-chan, your surprised face and your face when you’re fascinated like a kid are really cute.
	Next time, I’ll perform a special skill just for you.
	‘Kay then, next is the dance stage.
	I’ll show you a vibe and charm that’s different from kakushigei, so keep your eyes on me, ‘kay? Director-chan.

Tsuzuru doll	“You brought over the soup for dinner? Thanks… pff, SPICY!?”
Masumi	You seemed sleepy, so I thought the spicy one would wake you up.
Tsuzuru doll	“I mean, it’s true I woke up, but!”
Banri	Ohh, you can do the ventriloquism properly now, eh?
Masumi	Of course I can. I practised hard and I’m going to show Director something good at the kakushigei tournament.
Banri	As usual.
	Anyways, that doll Yuki made’s really got Tsuzuru’s vibe down, huh?
	Masumi’s imitation of Tsuzuru is real good too which makes me think so even more.
Tsuzuru doll	…”Banri, I’m glad you’re here. If you’re free, then can you help me with the shopping for dinner?”
Banri	Yep, nailed it.
Masumi	How’s your tablecloth pulling?
Banri	Totally perfect. Just leave it to me.
	Let’s fire up the kakushigei tournament with our tricks ‘n have the red team win this thing.
Masumi	Yeah.
