Izumi | Let's do that last bit one more time. |
Tsumugi | "Work hard. Students these days need motivated teachers like you." |
Banri | "I see! I'll work hard!" |
Itaru | "......Heh, good work. I'll be going ahead first." |
| |
Banri | "I mean, don't you have any concerns!? I'll hear you out anytime!" |
Misumi | "......Not really; I'm fine." |
Izumi | (―― Yeah, practice is going well.) |
| (Itaru-san is an aloof teacher, Banri-kun is a hot-blooded newcomer, Tsumugi-san is a manly physical education teacher, and Misumi-kun is an unfathomable student......) |
| (They each have a solid grasp of their characters, and it feels stable. They're fitting well with their roles. |
Tsuzuru | It's looking good, huh. |
Izumi | You think so too, Tsuzuru-kun? |
Tsuzuru | Yeah. |
| |
Izumi | That's all for today! Good work, everyone! |
Itaru | GG~. |
Banri | Good work. |
Tsumugi | Well done. |
Misumi | Good work~! |
Izumi | Shall we carry on and start the meeting? |
Tsumugi | Itaru-kun's role this time as a two-faced teacher is interesting, isn't it. |
Izumi | It was like this during Boy Alice too, but isn't it difficult playing two roles by yourself, Itaru-san? |
Itaru | Different faces for day and night......Well, it's kind of chuuni, so isn't it fine? Itaru-san[1] is surprisingly keen on that. |
Banri | Well, this person here is mightily two-sided on a normal day. |
Itaru | I don't deny that. |
Banri | Don't you mean you can't deny it? |
Itaru | Shush......Well, enough about that. |
| During practice with the Spring Troupe, I got advice from everyone and took that sort of thing into consideration while rounding out the role. |
Izumi | (Itaru-san trusts everyone in the Spring Troupe and is being helped by them.) |
| (Chikage-san, who has a different sort of duality to Itaru-san, is also in the Spring Troupe, so it might be easy to ask about that aspect of it too.) |
Tsumugi | I ask everyone in the Winter Troupe various things too. Tasuku and Hisoka-kun give me advice, so I use that as a reference. |
Izumi | A manly physical education teacher is a bit of a different role to your usual image, isn't it. |
Tsumugi | Ahaha. That's right. It's precisely for that reason that it's fun and worth doing. |
Itaru | Speaking of different, Banri too. It's the complete opposite to your usual self. |
Banri | Ahh, well, yeah. I've been told that by Taichi and Omi too. |
Izumi | Do you hear from everyone in the Summer Troupe too, Misumi-kun? |
Misumi | Everyone told me to do my best~. Tenma said that it should be fine, since it's me~. |
Izumi | (The Summer Troupe trusts that Misumi-kun will be okay too.) |
Tsumugi | It's our first Mixed Troupe Play, so I'd like to make it a proper success. |
Izumi | That's right! Let's work hard! |
Itaru | Banri, you could probably be a bit more pushy during that earlier bit. |
Banri | Ahh, I can go further, huh. Got it. |
Izumi | Misumi-kun, too; if you plan your eye movements a bit more, I think you'll be able to bring out a more complex or mysterious feel. |
Misumi | I'll try~. |
Itaru | I might try adding a touch more variation in the gap between my two sides. |
Tsumugi | Futami has a dual personality, as we were just saying, but at heart he's a character who cares for his students; that part of him is wonderful. |
Izumi | Right. But he's a cool-headed character, so he doesn't show that directly...... |
Tsumugi | Itaru-san, you can't bring out that part of him? |
Itaru | Mmm......It's difficult. Firstly, since he's the protagonist, I think I'd like to focus on bringing out the charm of his dual nature in a cool way. |
| Say, this happens a lot in school-themed stuff, but in this day and age, you can't spend so many resources on a single student...... |
Tsumugi | Itaru-kun, you're realistic, huh...... |
Itaru | It's the truth. |
Izumi | There might surprisingly be someone nearby who was looked after by a teacher like that. |
Banri | Ahh...... |
Misumi | What is it? |
Banri | No, I'm just going to say that I've kind of got someone in mind there. When I was reading the script, it gave me a bit of déjà vu. |
Itaru | For real? |
Banri | When I was in high school, there were times when the guidance counsellor would go to the trouble of chasing me down outside of school grounds. |
Itaru | Ohh, delinquent VS guidance counsellor is the stuff of school dramas. |
Misumi | Banri, what did you do? |
Banri | I just didn't hand in my career plan. |
Itaru | That's the sort of thing you just fill out however. |
Banri | There wasn't anything I wanted to do back then. I ignored him when he told me to hand it in, so he came specifically to search for me. |
Tsumugi | That's how much he was invested in you, hm. |
Banri | When I told him there wasn't anything I wanted to do he wrote a temp plan and submitted it for me. |
Itaru | Forceful, huh. |
Tsumugi | By the way, what was that temporary plan? |
Banri | Ahh......The hardest national university to get into. |
Itaru | Whew. |
Tsumugi | You'd be able to aim for it, but he must be an incredible teacher. |
Misumi | Itaru, don't you have any memories like Banri's of your teachers~? |
Itaru | Hmm......By my own report, I wasn't a troublesome student. |
| Far from a problem child like Banri. |
Banri | Oh, shut up. |
Izumi | (Just for an instant, Itaru-san looked conflicted......I wonder why.) |
