Tasuku…Ugh, my head hurts.
TsumugiYou drank too much yesterday, didn’t you?
TasukuEveryone was drunk towards the end except for the students…
TsumugiWe should hurry, or we’ll be late to morning practice.
TasukuYeah. But it’s going to be the same practice from yesterday anyway.
Tsumugi…Huh?
TasukuWhat’s wrong?
TsumugiIt’s nothing…
TsumugiGood morning.
IzumiGood morning!
AzumaGood morning.
HomareGood morning, ladies and gentlemen. What a refreshing morning.
Hisoka…Morning.
TasukuHuh? Mikage, where’s the bag of marshmallows?
Hisoka…I already finished it.
TasukuHuh?
Tsumugi
TasukuArisugawa, didn’t you prepare an idiotic poem to cheer Tsumugi on?
HomareI already presented the poem I put my utmost effort on yesterday, did I not?
TasukuDon’t tell me—
Tsumugi—As I thought.
Look at the date, Tasuku.
Tasuku…It’s the 13th!
TsumugiWe finally got out of it.
TasukuYeah!
IzumiDid something happen, you two?
TsumugiUmm, the truth is—
TasukuThere’s no way they’d believe such a stupid story.
TsumugiYeah, you’re right…
Izumi???
HomareThose two have made up without us realizing?
AzumaI guess so. Something must have happened.
Izumi(I don’t really understand, but I’m glad that they’ve made up. Tsumugi-san’s admission yesterday must have induced it.) [1]
ManagerAh, Director! It’s a phone call from the chairman of God Seat!
Izumi…I’ll take over.
…Hello?
ReniDo tell me about your decision.
Izumi…Mankai Company accepts the challenge from God Seat.
ReniOh?
IzumiOur theater troupe will fight as one.
ReniI’m looking forward to that.
Usually, the side that proposed the showdown is the one that chooses the theme of the performance. Do you have any objections if I decide?
IzumiNo.
ReniThen, the theme this time shall be “Angel”.
Izumi“Angel”…
(The motif is a type that we’ve never done before.)
ReniBest of luck to you.
Although I doubt that you would be able to present a beautiful, fleeting world of angels.
Izumi――
(We’ve never done a play that has to abide by a theme before…)
(The theme influences not only the production, but also the script, the costumes, and the stage set. We need to have a strategy meeting…)
(We’ll also need to seek help from the other troupes…)
IzumiNow then, let’s start the first leader meeting.
TenmaIs it fine with just us leaders?
IzumiSince I’ve decided that Mankai Company will go against God Seat as one, I think that starting with cooperation between the leaders is a must.
We’ll have regular meetings where we share issues, and then I would like the leaders to relay those to their respective troupe members and gather opinions as occasion calls. [2]
SakuyaUnderstood!
Banri‘Kay.
TsumugiLet’s get along.
IzumiTo start off, it’s decided that the theme for the one-to-one act against God Seat is “Angel”.
Sakuya“Angel”, huh… It’s a completely different feel from the plays Mankai Company has had until now.
TenmaIt’s a theme that’s advantageous for God Seat, since they specialize in presentation and in subtle, artistic plays.
TsumugiThe side that proposed the showdown is the one that decides the theme, so it can’t be helped…
BanriWell, the fact that they picked a theme they specialize in means that they’re surprisingly pretty scared, right?
SakuyaYou’re right… That’s possible.
TsumugiThey’re probably saying that they want to beat us up to a pulp.
TenmaLooks like it’s better not to hope for them to mess up.
BanriInteresting. It’s a match where we can beat an opponent that’s going all out.
IzumiFirst off, Tsumugi-san, do you have anything to say regarding any issues the Winter Troupe has?
TsumugiLet’s see… I can’t handle the team properly as the leader, so I’m a bit worried.
SakuyaYour team just formed recently, so it can’t be helped that everyone is all over the place.
TenmaThe Summer Troupe was the worst at first too.
BanriIt was god-awful for the Autumn Troupe too.
Izumi(It’s true, it was terrible for all troupes…)
TsumugiIs there a good way to bring all the members together?
TenmaIn that case, having a sleepover with all the group members together worked well for both the Spring Troupe and the Summer Troupe. [3]
TsumugiSleepover…?
BanriI dunno whether it was a good method or not, but Hyodo and I got handcuffed to each other.
SakuyaUmm… We talked about love! [4]
TsumugiEveryone is amazing…
Izumi(Is this actually helpful…?)
IzumiOkay, let’s get preparations started—
TsumugiAh, before that, can I say something first?
Sorry that I’ve been an unreliable leader. I’ll do things a little more properly from now on.
In order to beat God Seat, from today onwards once again, please let me do my best as the leader.
Tasuku…Of course.
HomareYou are the leader after all, Tsumugi-kun.
AzumaI think it’s fine if you aim to be a leader in your own way, Tsumugi.
Hisoka…Do your best.
TsumugiThank you, everyone.
After consulting the other troupe leaders for advice, I tried thinking about the subject for today.
In order for the company to be united as one, I think that it’s important to bring the Winter Troupe members together first.
For that same reason, I also want us to get to know each other more and deepen our mutual trust.
We don’t have to do actual meetings, but let’s exchange ideas more frequently.
I want everyone to make a point of communicating with fellow members as much as possible. I will do the same too.
TasukuWe should probably make time for stuff like that in particular.
TsumugiYou mean other than meetings? Won’t it be too much trouble?
TasukuIt doesn’t have to be something precise.
When we have time, stuff like doing street acts together or going to see a play together should work.
TsumugiYeah, you’re right. Let’s make it so that we’ll have more chances of doing things like that.
AzumaI can free up my time as I please, so I can match with everyone’s schedules.
HomareSimilarly, Hisoka and I can do so as well.
Hisoka…People with too much free time.
TasukuYou sure are blunt.
Izumi(Tasuku-san and Tsumugi-san have taken to the support side. Their relationship has truly changed.)
(No, it’s more like they’ve probably gone back to how they were before. I hope that with this, the Winter Troupe will head towards a better direction!)

  1. 告白, literally meaning confession, is the word Izumi used here (Tsumugi-san’s “confession”) but it doesn’t sound right given the context so I used “admission,” which tbh feels off too…
  2. This line gave me a headache … please let me know if I messed up
  3. Tenma literally said “sleeping together with all the members” but that sounded wrong so I changed it up a bit
  4. Koibana is like girls talk but it literally means “love talk.” Which is what the troupes did. They talked about love.
