???U-Umm…ummm…
MukuDo you have business with us?
???Err…uhh…
MasumiOnly staff is permitted here.
???Eh?!
TsumugiErr, are you alright…?
IzumiOh, Are you perhaps… Serizawa-kun? I'm Tachibana, the president and general director of MANKAI Company.
AkashiYe…s.
Izumi(He's not looking this way at all… It reminds me of what Yuzo-san said.)
YuzoAkashi's grandfather used to be in charge of the lighting for MANKAI Company. While he's retired now, he drilled all his skills into his grandson.
He's got the skills despite his young age. He's now working as a freelance light op.
But there's a little bit of a problem…
IzumiWhat problem?
YuzoEven though his skills are the real deal, he's really bad with people.
Depending on the place, there are times when he really can't fit in with the others. He should be alright with you, though, I think…
AkashiE-Err…
Izumi(Oh, well. He might be nervous since this is our first meeting. And I don't have any problem with that as long as he's got the skills.)
Let’s go on a tour around the theater building, okay?
AkashiOkay…
IzumiI guess that's all for our equipment and lighting desk… Do you have any questions?
AkashiN-No…
IzumiOkay. Hey, the other day I saw a play that you did the lighting for.
What you did during the climax and ending was so pretty. I was impressed.
AkashiAh…!
Izumi?
AkashiA good person…!
U-Uhh… I read the script… for your play… It was really… great…
IzumiReally? Thank you!
AkashiI heard… from Yuzo-san… By some chance… my grandpa… might work… with you… before… that's why…
I want to… illuminate the actors… with the colors… you want.
IzumiThanks! I look forward to working with you, then!
(It may take a while until he gets used to us, but he seems reliable enough!)
RentoOooh! So this is the place!
IzumiOh. Rento-san!
RentoWhere's Isuke-san…?
IzumiManager? He should be in the dorm today…
RentoDang, he ain't here…
IzumiPleased to be working with you.
RentoYeah, same here.
IzumiOh, right. The lighting staff is also here too… Hmm?
Akashi-kun? That’s weird. He was here just now…
RentoDo you mean that guy trembling like crazy in the corner over there?
AkashiEeeeek….
IzumiA-Are you alright?
AkashiSo loud… scary…
IzumiErr, this is our lighting staff, Akashi-kun.
RentoOh, if it isn't Akashi Serizawa! I'm Rento Kinozaki.
I saw a play you did the lighting for! You really got the sense, man!
AkashiA-A good person…?
Izumi(He's raised his face, but he's still curling up like a ball…)
BanriDirector-chan. Do you have a moment?
IzumiAh, let me introduce you to Banri-kun as well.
Banri-kun, this is Rento-kun. He'll be in charge of… oh wait you know him already.. This one is our new lighting staff, Akashi-kun.
Rento-kun, Akashi-kun, this is Banri Settsu. He's the lead actor as well as the assistant director for this play.
AkashiU-Umm… portrait…
RentoIt's super viral.
IzumiSo you watched it too?
RentoFlashy sounds will suit you.
AkashiI want to… illuminate you… with intense light.
BanriSweet.
IzumiBecause we don't have much time until the opening show, I'd like to finish the production quickly. With that said, I'll be counting on you guys.
RentoOkay.
AkashiYe…s.
Taichi"Eat this! I'm not the Rat you know today!!"
Omi"If you don’t want to die, hurry up and surrender! Your ship’s swiss cheese either way!"
Izumi(Now that Rento-kun and Akashi-kun are here, this scene gives off a completely different impression.)
(I never knew it'd be this different just by improving our lighting and sound…)
(The two can’t be any more different in social skills, but we’re getting a better feel for each other, so planning is getting easier.)
(And now after talking with Banri-kun, the production quality got even better.I'm really grateful for his help.)
(There’s no doubt that we’ll be able to deliver a performance leaps and bounds better than our previous shows!)
