Tenma | We’re having Chinese food tonight? |
Izumi | It’s the Dim Sum Festival after all! |
Misumi | This triangle is delicious~! |
Yuki | They’re called rangoons. |
Muku | The grilled shrimp is delicious. Shrimp is so nice and firm this time of year. |
Kumon | Everything is so delicious!! It’s all so light I could eat twenty of each! |
Tenma | Make sure to leave some for the rest of us. |
Omi | I still have some sesame buns for after dinner. |
Kumon | Yaaay! |
Guy | The spring rolls are perfectly crisp. Frying food well is difficult indeed. As expected of Fushimi. |
Omi | I can show you how later, if you want. |
Guy | I would be most grateful. |
Azuma | Shall I pour us a drink? |
Tsumugi | Good idea. |
Azuma | Fufu, you’ll keep me company? |
Tasuku | I will too. |
Muku | Oh, where’s Alice-san? |
Hisoka | ...he went back home. His grandmother’s sick. |
Muku | Ehhh?? R-really? |
Misumi | Is she okay? |
Izumi | A lot of older people get sick in the summertime because of the heat, so I’m not too worried. |
Tasuku | But still, this is the first time he’s been home in a while. |
Tenma | I see. It’s a good chance to go home, then. |
Tsumugi | Speaking of missing dinner, Kazu-kun isn’t here either. |
Yuki | He’s working on finishing his piece for the upcoming gallery show. |
Muku | He said he’d be back by nighttime, but he hasn’t come home yet. |
Tenma | I guess these things take time. |
Misumi | Let’s make some onigiri for him and give it to him when he gets home~! |
Kumon | Good idea! |
Sakuya | Oh yeah Muku-kun, how was the movie? |
Muku | It was awesome! |
Izumi | Movie? |
Muku | Today everyone in Summer Troupe went to go see a movie. |
Sakuya | I want to see it because I read the original source material for it. |
Tenma | The circus scene was amazing. |
Sakuya | Really? Oh man, I really want to see it now too! |
Tsumugi | I’m curious about it now too, want to go see it together? |
Izumi | How about on Sunday? |
Kazunari | Can I come too? |
Muku | Ah! Kazu-kun! |
Izumi | Kazunari-kun, you didn’t already see it? |
Kazunari | I couldn’t make it because I was still working on my piece for the exhibition. |
Yuki | Did you finish? |
Kazunari | Well, kind of. |
Tenma | Kind of? Don’t tell me you have more work to do. |
Kazunari | My next piece is going up for sale at the gallery show, so I wanted to make it something worth the money but... |
| I don’t really know if it’s good enough or if it’s really worth being sold... |
| I haven’t made a piece with the thought of selling it in a while, and I think I’m just overthinking things again... |
| But the thought of being able to come back and play with everyone again was enough to get me to stick it out and finish the piece as best as I could for now. |
Izumi | Kazunari-kun, is painting rewarding for you? |
Kazunari | Yeah, absolutely. |
Tenma | If that’s so, then that should be enough. |
Kazunari | Yeah, that’s... you’re probably right. |
Yuki | Maybe if you go to see the movie, you’ll get inspired. |
Muku | Maybe you’ll come out feeling refreshed and you’ll paint a picture you like more next time? |
Misumi | Kazu, the movie has a really big triangle in it, you gotta see it! You’ll get so excited! |
Kazunari | Thanks, you guys. |
Kumon | Ah that’s right! This weekend we’re supposed to be getting a typhoon, so you guys should see it soon! |
Azuma | That’s right, I saw on the news that it’s heading here. |
Sakuya | Well then, let’s go sometime this week. |
Izumi | Sounds good to me. |
| |
| -at the Arisugawa residence- |
Takao | Homare-sama, your tea is ready. Where would you like to enjoy it today, sir? |
Homare | I’ll be having it in grandmother’s room. |
Takao | I’m afraid the matriarch is not in her quarters at the moment... |
Homare | She’s not? Well, where is she? |
Takao | Perhaps, she has gone to that place—. |
