No matter how many times I have touched these distant memories
The faint warmth that they hold has never answered me
The waning autumn moon shines so heartbreakingly
The petals of my memories are carried on the breeze of my sighs
Ah...
The dripping night has stained
My world in solitary darkness
All that I possess crumbles like bits of sand
Fell through my hands in the blink of eye. This is how it ends.
My hollow heart has slowly grown cold
Wandering lost even as I long for love
Without fulfilment, I rush through running from
These empty repeating days
The words "don't leave me" overflow from
A voice chilled by the cold of loneliness
While welcome a gentle place to belong
As I hold you tight, you're the only one who has touched my heart
"I won't be gone in the morning,"[1] you say
And with those words you melted my weakness
My tears soak the pillow as I waver and falter
Dreaming of sadness in the dead of the night
If I were to sink in and disappear as the foam
How much more peaceful it would be... Forever
Dashing towards the ocean of my memories
Where all my short-lived wishes are collected together
Wishing to be drawn in to shore by happiness
I close my eyes
Touched by a peaceful melody and warm smiles
My time dancing with you is precious like no other
Forgive me for this attachment as our kisses overlap
I strong swear here, not to leave.
The words "don't leave me" overflow from a voice chilled by the cold of loneliness
While welcome a gentle place to belong
As I hold you tight, you're the only one who has touched my heart
"I won't be gone in the morning," you say
And with those words you melted my weakness
Light beams from the full moon[2] as it dances in the sky
I'm filled with smiles...
This fulfilling warmth, forever at my side
Is a fully blooming flower in my heart. [3]

Notes
- ↑ Literally, the lyrics are that "a grieving/painful morning will not come", but the emphasis is less on that the morning won't come, but that Azuma won't be left alone and sad in the morning. I thought this phrase might get that point across better.
- ↑ It's a metaphor, you see. Azuma's heart is like a waning moon when it feels empty, and it's a full moon now that it's bright and fulfilled. Wooh, imagery.
- ↑ If you think that this and the previous verse sound a lot like the Winter Troupe theme song, you're correct.
