Izumi……
Chairman……
Izumi(H-How did things come down to this?)
ChairmanDo you dislike sushi? Or would young ones like you prefer meat?
IzumiN-Not at all!
ChairpersonPlease eat till your heart’s content. You must be hungry after a play like that.
JuzaThanks.
TaichiI-I’ll be digging in then!
OmiLet’s eat.
ChairpersonYou lot have no reason to be holding back! Eat as much as you want. I was extremely moved by your acting, in fact.
Izumi(He must have really enjoyed the finale to be inviting us to his house…)
Yakuza AHey, your act as Kojima wasn’t too shabby. It’s the first time I’ve ever watched a play but my heart kinda stung when you collapsed.
TaichiThat’s because Sakoda-san taught me many things!
Yakuza AAhh, I see. So it was Sakoda-nii who did that.
Izumi(They might all look scary at first glance but they’re all surprisingly nice people.)
BanriYou bastard, don’t just go eating all the eggs.
JuzaHah? I thought it was free for all?
BanriAt least pass me one of them.
Juza―― *gulp gulp*
BanriYou bastard――!
Yakuza AOh, a fight? Well, aren’t you guys spirited!
Yakuza BGo ahead, get him!
Yakuza CCome on, drink up! Or so I’d like to say but you’re all underage huh.
Yakuza AYou guys can take drinks, right?
OmiWell, we’re technically legal.
Yakuza AAlright, drink this sake here. It’s something you’ll rarely get a taste of out there.
Yakuza BWe’ll join you over here too. It’s actually one of the chairperson's prized wines!
SakyoDon’t drink too much.
Yakuza C‘Kay!
IchiroHow about you have a cup too, nee-chan?
IzumiIttadakimasu.
IchirouThis time’s play also ended with a great success, didn’t it? Only you could’ve achieved something like that.
IzumiThank you as always for being part of the ensemble cast, Akita-san.
IchiroNah, that wasn’t much of a hassle to begin with.
SakodaWhat are you sayin’! Didn’t you play an active role contributing to this great success as well? You really made a great impact there!
IchiroShut up.
SakyoHey Sakoda, what happened to the young boss?
SakodaWell, you see… he hasn’t really been coming back here lately. I meet with him on a daily basis but he isn’t exactly on good terms with the boss…
SakyoReally, that guy’s just…
Izumi(I wonder if the young boss refers to the chairperson’s son? It kinda seems like we’re still on the stage itself…)
…Phew.
(I think I drank a little too much. Seems like I can sober up a little with the wind blowing through here.)
(This place has a really large yard…what an amazing apartment…)
ChairpersonHey there, General Director-san.
Izumi!?
Oh, h-hello…
ChairpersonYou don’t have to be so hasty.
Izumi(W-Well even if you say that…It’s hard not to be when one’s talking to the Yakuza boss…)
ChairpersonYou’ve really dragged Sakyo into this Theatre Company of yours, haven’t you?
IzumiY-Yes…?
(Could he be angry…!?)
ChairpersonThank you for doing that.
Izumi…Huh?
ChairpersonHe came to see me before he joined you all, saying that he might have to cut ties with us if it really comes down to it.
I knew that this would eventually happen from the moment I had him surrounded back in the past so I told him to do whatever he pleased so long as he doesn’t trouble the Theatre Company.
Never would I have thought that there would be a Theatre Company out there that would accept even people from the Yakuza.
Izumi…W-Well, we do have many people from different walks of life in our Theatre Company and Sakyo-san’s passion for acting is some serious business too.
Chairperson…I see.
He already had a foot in our world when I first met him.
It would have been alright if I directed him back to the right path from there but he seemed like the kind that would get lost in this way of life forever, you see.
I think that somewhere within my heart, I regretted being unable to live a right life and felt responsible to lead him back up the right way.
Well, I guess everyone feels the same no matter how minute. Though in his case, seemed to have something that he refused to give up on no matter what happened.
So I’m glad that he managed to get a hold of his dream once again.
Izumi(He’s making an expression similar to the one Kashima-san made earlier…)
(I think that Sakyo-san might have been someone the chairman had looked after as if he was his own son ever since he was young…)
It seems like Sakyo-san has 3 families. One being his real blood-related family, the Theatre Company and everyone in the Ginsenkai…
ChairpersonFamily huh… Haha, I don’t think that’s quite it.
Sakyo――Boss, Makita was looking for you.
ChairpersonAlright, tell him that I’ll be there soon.
I’m currently in the middle of a conversation with her asking if she’d join our ranks.
SakyoWhat!?
IzumiAhaha! I’ll really be a “nee-san” if that happens.
ChairpersonPlease do take it into consideration.
Sakyo…This doesn’t even pass for a joke, for crying out loud.
IzumiThe chairperson’s a really nice person, isn’t he?
SakyoHe seems to be in really good spirits today but even I get scared whenever he snaps.
IzumiEven you’ll get scared…?
(That sounds terrifying… even though he seemed like such a friendly person…)
He had on a fatherly look when he was talking about you though.
SakyoA father, huh…
I was single-handedly raised by a woman so I don’t know what a real father’s supposed to be like.
So people who I can compare to as a father are at most, him and… Yukio-san.
IzumiFather…
SakyoYukio-san treated everyone in the Theatre Company like family. He might be strict during practice but he was usually all smiles.
Izumi(The strictness and seriousness Sakyo-san has during practice might be because of him watching my father conducting practices in the past…?)
So we’re all like your honorary younger siblings then?
Sakyo…I don’t need a younger sister like you.
IzumiWhaatt!? How mean!
SakyoIt’d be boring if you were my younger sister, wouldn’t it?
Izumi?
Sakyo…Oh right, about the money I saved for the apartment I had originally intended to purchase…
IzumiAre you going to use it for something else?
SakyoNo, I was thinking of keeping it just in case something crops up with the Theatre Company.
Though you’ve made some profit and all, you’re still originally a Theatre Company gone bankrupt.
Izumi(We certainly don’t have the time to be taking things easy… There’s no guarantee when a problem will crop up either…)
SakyoWe’ve been doing our utmost best just to feed everyone in the Theatre Company but they can also benefit more from things if we earned more profit.
IzumiI’ll do my best to make that come to fruition as soon as possible!
SakyoIn light of that, in addition to our usual plays, we should also re-perform our plays in places which have higher chances of garnering us higher sales and also hold fan-meetings…
How about collaborating with other Theatre Companies… etc...
Izumi…I’ll be leaving that side of things to you!
SakyoOi.
IzumiIt’s called putting the right person in charge of the right things!
I want to thank and repay everyone who worked their hardest when Theatre Company had been in the red.
I have to put in more effort than what I’m already doing for that to happen.
SakyoRight…
IzumiOf course, I’ve thought of repaying you back as well, you know?
Even so, I was still worried that you might be leaving the Theatre Company since you were leaving the dorms.
Sakyo…Are you an idiot?
I returned after having left once. Since you, the General Director asked of me so, I wouldn’t leave it for the second time.
I feel the same too, I have to repay everyone.
Like Yukio-san and everyone from the original MANKAI Company. For protecting this Theatre Company.
My filial piety has also been done. I’ll be putting all of my concentration into the Theatre Company from now on. Be prepared to work to the bone.
IzumiI’ll be expecting it!
