Citron | Tsumugi, you teach Japanese language as a home tutor, correct? |
Tsumugi | Rather than Japanese language, I teach modern Japanese.[1] |
After | |
Citron | I would like you to be my Japanese teacher! |
Tsumugi | If you’re okay with me, I’d be happy to teach you anytime. |
Veludo Park
Before | |
Citron | Please don’t pull the sack, okay? |
Tsumugi | Yup, I won’t hold back. |
After | |
Citron | I find street acts to be broad-minded! |
Tsumugi | I think you mean profound? Let’s go over correct Japanese one step at a time, okay? |
Veludo Town Library
Before | |
Citron | My favourite Japanese phrase is ‘to be an almighty prizewinner’! Very nice! |
Tsumugi | I wonder if you meant ‘to be an almighty warrior’...? Or did you really mean to say ‘almighty prizewinner’...? |
After | |
Citron | Tasuku said that you have a bad habit of resolving things after the fact, Tsumugi.[2] |
Tsumugi | M-maybe you mean looking after myself…? I’ll have to ask Tasuku later... |

- ↑ Genkoku (現国) is translated to modern Japanese; it’s a subject where you learn about the Japanese language itself as well as literature & composition
- ↑ Citron said 事後解決 as a mistake instead of 自己完結 (they sound the same). 事後解決 literally means ‘to resolve [something] after the fact/after it’s already happened’. 自己完結 means ‘self-sufficiency’
