They’re a strong opponent. Muku Their performance was really extravagant too. Sakuya …I wonder if the Winter Troupe members are okay. I hope they’re not nervous. Masumi It’s impossible not to feel nervous. Tsuzuru You can say that again. The theater is done for if we lose. Citron An eggplant is an eggplant! Tsuzuru What are you talking about!? Masumi An eggplant story? Itaru ‘Where there is a will, there is a way,’ I think. Sakyo … Omi It’s more nerve-wracking for the ones watching. Sakyo Nothing we can do but silently watch over them. Let’s believe in them. Omi You’re right… Banri Like hell we’ll lose to that despicable theater company. Taichi That’s right! There’s no way that Mankai Company will lose to the likes of GOD-za! Juza You’ve become able to say it. Taichi Yeah! Raphael “Foolish Michael.” Michael “Raphael, you’re worried about me, aren’t you?” Raphael “Falling in love with a human only causes sorrow. I know that for a fact.” Izumi (The way they exchange looks, and the intervals in their exchange… Only two people that have known each other for a long time are capable of such a wordless dialogue.) (Unlike GOD-za’s performance, this is a play that makes you concentrate on the actors’ every single action, down to their breathing…) (This is Tsumugi-san’s most well-executed performance so far, and Tasuku-san is putting on a performance that is just as perfect.) Metatron “You wish to save a female human?” “Hmm. The strait-laced Michael harbors some surprisingly bold thoughts. In that case, you can descend on the human world.” Izumi (Compared to the beginning, Homare-san’s acting technique shows a deeper understanding of his role and is added with more emotion.) (Homare-san calls himself a broken cyborg that doesn’t understand people’s feelings, but that’s not the case.) (When everyone was suspecting each other, he understood how everyone felt more than anyone else.) (I’m sure that he came to understand how people feel because of all that time he spent together with everyone.) (And also because of his strong desire to understand.) Uriel “The day when her soul departs for heaven is already decided. Don’t waste your time interfering.” Michael “That list is just a prediction. It’s not set in stone.” Uriel “Even so, it’s not something you can twist around at your own discretion. If you’re going to let personal feelings get in the way, you’ll be taken before the council of heavenly laws.” Izumi (Hisoka-san is displaying a lot more facial expression than before.) (He never talks about his feelings, but I feel that something in him has changed compared to the beginning when he had no memories.) (It may be the fact that he’s come to think of this place – where he can be with everyone – as the place where he belongs.) Phillip “Here’s a letter from her. Forgive me, but I can’t deliver any more letters. I’m sorry. If you read this letter then you will know the reason why.” Izumi (It may be because of his mutual trust with everyone, but Azuma-san has become more absorbed in acting than before.) (Everyone’s feelings of wanting to act better have reached him.) (This feeling of wanting to stand on stage forever is almost like a prayer, to the point where it hurts…) (This mood filled with tension is perfect for a tragic play like this. It really tugs at the heartstrings.) Raphael “You can’t return to being an angel. Your existence itself is going to disappear, you know?” Michael “Even so, I was able to protect my first love, and you, my good friend, are seeing my soul off. I’m happy.” Raphael “Michael, you big fool.” Michael “Thank you. I can be with you for eternity…” Izumi (Tsumugi-san… It’s as if he’s praying…) Izumi … (There’s no applause…?) Tsumugi …? Izumi ―― (It’s an ear-splitting applause—) Audience A Bravo—! Audience B —That was amazing! Tsumugi That scared me… Tasuku How dare they scare us like that. Homare I was wondering if the audience went home. Hisoka …Time lag. Azuma They sure kept us in suspense. Tsumugi But this is amazing. Tasuku …It’s not quieting down. Tsumugi Curtain call!
