Izumi (It’s already the day of the first performance....) (In the end, Chikage-san’s acting fell apart and never recovered... to be honest, the rehearsal was awful.) (Thankfully Sakuya-kun and the others are all doing well, so they’re in good shape overall, but....) (I hope this ends safely....) Announcement ...Thank you for coming to MANKAI Company’s 4th Newborn Spring Troupe performance today. Chikage ...Phew. Sakuya Don’t worry, Chikage-san! Just perform like usual. We’ll support you! Citron Millac’s~ slacks~! Itaru Relax, yeah. Tsuzuru Chikage-san, I wrote Oswald with you in mind, so just be yourself. Perform freely. Masumi No matter how you perform, I’ll be better than you, so. Tsuzuru Are you even trying to encourage him? Itaru ...Well, TBH it’s schadenfreude to see my always-perfect senpai acting like this. Chikage —Are you guys picking a fight with me? Itaru As I thought, senpai, you’re a netizen, aren’t you. Chikage .... Sakuya TBH...? Schadenfreude? Citron It means to derive pleasure from others’ misfortunes~! Tsuzuru Why do you always know so much about these sorts of things!? Itaru Well, birds of a feather flock together. Why don’t you show that side of yourself more often? Chikage .... Izumi .... Police “There’s no escape, Oswald! You’re surrounded! Give up and turn yourself in!” Oswald “Hmph. Like hell I’ll get caught.” Police “Wha––a hot air balloon!?” “Chase him! Don’t let him go!” Oswald “Geez. Guess I’ll have to go into hiding for a while.” Izumi (Chikage-san is doing better than yesterday, but it looks like he’s still having trouble here and there....) (The guests might go easy on him since he’s a newcomer playing the lead, but....) Rick “Who are you, sir?” Oswald “My name is Oswa––Oz.” Rick “Sir Oz... The great wizard Oz!” Oswald “Wizard?” Rick “You were using magic to fly through the air just moments ago!” Izumi (Sakuya-kun really pulls the show together when he performs. He draws your eye—enough to change the whole mood of the stage.) (Thanks to Sakuya-kun’s support, Chikage-san is also doing better.) (Oswald and Rick share most of their scenes, so they should be able to manage till the end....) Oswald “Wizard of the North. I am the Great Wizard Oz.” Wizard of the North “Oz? Are you a new wizard? Greetings.” Izumi (Everyone else is keeping the show together. The wizards are maintaining the worldview with their convincing performances.) (Oswald is the only non-wizard among them, so his awkwardness might be working in his favor.) Audience A The new person was really nervous. Audience B Though he is good-looking. Audience A But it was fun~! I was kinda moved at how the other Spring Troupe members looked more reliable when they were supporting the new person! Audience B They’ve really gotten more dependable! Audience Yup, yup! I really do love Spring Troupe the most! Izumi (Thank goodness... The audience recognizes Spring Troupe’s charm.) (But Chikage-san is probably disappointed.... I’m a little worried.) Izumi Nice work, everyone! The audience really enjoyed it! Sakuya Nice work! Citron It’s GJ~! Itaru GJGJ. Masumi Nice work. Tsuzuru Pretty good for the first day! Chikage .... Izumi (Chikage-san looks gloomy. He’s probably more aware of his performance than anyone....) Sakuya-kun, can you come over here.... Sakuya Eh? Izumi I’m a little worried about Chikage-san, so could you keep an eye out for him? Sakuya —Yes.
