Practice Conversation 1[edit]
Sakuya | Ummm… Whose could these be… |
Ah, Director! I actually just picked these up here.
Star-shaped glasses… They're a party item you use at events, right?
They don't look familiar to Director either, huh?
Hmmm… | |
I wonder if someone prepared these for an event and then dropped them?
Are they a prop or something?
The person who dropped these glasses might be looking for them, so I’ll search for their owner! |
Practice Conversation 2[edit]
Citron | Ohh! You’ve got some fashionable glasses there, Sakuya~. |
Why do you have those? | |
Sakuya | Actually, I picked them up at the main entrance of the dorm. |
Do you know whose they are?
Citron | Ohh, a lost item? They're not mine. |
Sakuya | I see… |
By the way, did these belong to Masumi-kun or Chikage-san…
Masumi | They don't. I wouldn’t want weird glasses like that. |
Chikage | I own various types of glasses, but unfortunately, those aren’t mine. |
Masumi | Isn’t that a prop from the storage room? |
Sakuya | I thought so and asked the Manager too, but he said he hasn’t seen them before. |
Citron | Let’s hand them over to the polling station[1]! |
Masumi | It’s police station, not polling. |
Chikage | If the owner of a lost item doesn't realize it's gone missing for a while, then the person who picked it up can have it, or the person who found it will be able to get a reward from its owner. |
Sakuya | Ehhh!? No way, a reward would be…! |
Chikage | Haha, just joking. |
Well, since you found them inside the dorm, they're definitely a troupe member’s, right?
Sakuya | Yeah. I think I’ll try asking more people. |
Practice Conversation 3[edit]
Tsuzuru | A lost pair of star-shaped glasses? |
Nope, I haven’t seen them before.
Sakuya | Oh, really… Hmmm… |
I tried asking the others too, but no one knew about them either.
Tsuzuru | They weren't Citron-san’s either, huh? |
That guy seems like he likes stuff like that though.
Sakuya | That’s true, he liked them at first glance and said they were really stylish. |
Tsuzuru | So he did, huh? |
Well, if they aren't a stage prop, then they're someone’s personal item. Just who in the world…
Itaru | I’m back… Ah. |
Sakuya | Welcome home, Itaru-san. |
Itaru | Were those glasses perhaps dropped somewhere? |
Sakuya | Yes, I picked them up at the main entrance of the dorm. |
I’m searching for their owner right now, but…
Itaru | My bad, my bad. Those are mine. |
Tsuzuru | EHH!? Those star-shaped glasses that only a party-animal would wear were Itaru-san's! |
Itaru | Actually, they’re goods that came with the first limited edition release of a certain game. |
I was going to my parents’ house today, so I thought I’d bring some of the goods in my room back home, or replace some games—.
But I must’ve dropped them on my way to the car.
Sakuya | Oh, I see, so that’s what happened. |
Tsuzuru | So the game came with star-shaped glasses… |
Itaru | It’s an item that a character in the game carries, and there’s an amazing story in the middle. |
It’s a really god-tier episode.
Tsuzuru | This just gets more and more confusing… |
Itaru | Thanks for picking them up for me, Sakuya. You saved my butt. |
Sakuya | Not at all! |
Fufu, it was kind of fun searching for their owner. |
Sakuya & Kasumi Talk[edit]
Sakuya | I’d like to take my time talking, and also do etudes and act with you again, Kasumi-san! |
Kasumi | Me too. Let’s talk a lot about acting—though unrelated topics are totally, totally welcome too! |
Sakuya | Thank you very much! Please tell me lots of stories about the first generation Spring troupe’s plays, and how you all prepared for your roles. |
Kasumi | About our shows and our role study, huh? |
I was seriously stiff and did terribly at acting my female roles at first.
But everyone in Spring troupe always accompanied me for practice, and they gave me lots of advice on how to role study so I improved little by little.
And then, as practice for my female roles, everyone escorted me one by one as well.
Sakuya | That’s amazing! It seems you can learn a lot! |
Kasumi | Yuzo and I argued with each other like, “your walking is sloppy”, “well then, you should escort me more properly,” and so forth. |
Like that, all of us had lots of fun putting our performances together while rehearsing and preparing for our roles.
Sakuya | Yeah…! |
Everyone’s been helping me a lot, so I want to become their strength too.
Kasumi | I'm always really looking forward to the plays that reborn Spring troupe create too. |
Let me know if there’s anything I can help with as well, ok! |
Anna
Notes[edit]
- ↑ Citron originally says “ソロバン” (soroban: abacus), which Masumi corrects as “交番” (koban: police box [like a mini police station that is commonly found near train stations, parks, and in residential neighbourhoods in Japan])
