In Fire Emblem Shadows, it costs Gems to purchase certain items in game. You can buy Gems with real money.
The Premium Season Pass has two purchase options. The Standard Pass costs 240 Gems, and the Quick Pass costs 480 Gems. The Quick pass includes everything in the Standard pass, and also 10,000 Season Points, which accelerates your progress along the pass.
Based on the calculations below, it should cost between approximately and for the Standard Pass, and and for the Quick Pass, in USD.
Using the cheapest permanently available packs, the cost in USD is for the Standard Pass and for the Quick Pass.
Outfits for characters are also available for purchase with Gems. Currently they cost either 50 or 150 Gems, depending on the outfit. This means they cost between and for the 50 Gem outfits, and and for the 150 Gem outfits, in USD.
Using the cheapest permanently available packs, the cost in USD is for the 50 Gem outfits and for the 150 Gem outfits.
Please note that these values do not take into consideration the purchase limits of each type of pack. Taxes are also not included. It also does not consider that packs don't contain the exact number of Gems to buy certain items, therefore there will be an excess of Gems in most cases.
The cards below show the packs available at launch, and the cost efficiency, in order from most to least cost effective. Currently, only USD is provided, but other currencies will be added when I have time. Also, please note that the value of each pack does not consider any other items besides Gems, so the actual value to you may be greater for packs that contain additional items.
