Akito “The same old daily life, the usual streets, my boring every day…” “*Sigh*… isn’t there anything fun to do~…” “…Hm?” *skateboard rolls by* Akito “What’s that sound…?” Touma “—HA!” *jumps* Akito “…! He flew…” “…T-that’s so cool!” Touma “Phew…” Akito “Hey, what was that just now!?” Touma “Ehh? You mean skating?” Akito “Skating…” Touma “…You’re staring at my board. What’s up?” Akito “I… I wanna skate too!” Touma “!” Akito “I mean, that just now was so totally wicked!” “You soared through air, just like a movie… A-anyways, that was really impressive!” Touma “Haha, you’re exaggerating. Fine, I’ll teach you. My name is Touma.” Akito “R-really…!? Thanks! I’m Akito. Nice to meet you!” Izumi (Akito yearns to skate and Touma agrees to take him under his wing. Kumon-kun and Taichi-kun really do fit them to a tee.) (Taichi-kun nailed his ollie too!) (Akito falls in love with skateboarding and spends his time, day in and day out, practising with Touma.) Akito “Hehe, I’ve gotten pretty used to pushing now~.” Touma “Hey, we’ve arrived.” Akito “Is this a flower shop…? Are you gonna buy something, Touma?” Touma “You’ll see.” Iori “Welcome, Touma-kun. …That boy must be Akito, right?” Touma “Bingo.” Akito “Hello.” Touma “This here is Iori-san. Out front, he's a florist. But behind the scenes, he fixes skateboards and stuff.” “He was kind of a legendary skater back in the day.” Iori “A legendary skater is too much… Besides, I’ve retired already.” Touma “Iori-san, about the board I secretly requested earlier…” Iori “Yep. I’ve got it prepared already.” Akito “?” Iori “Come into the backyard, you two.” Akito “Awesome! There’s so much equipment here!” Iori “…Here’s your board, Akito-kun.” Akito “Ehh, for me…!?” Touma “I mean, you’re not that great at it yet… But you look like you’re having a blast riding a skateboard.” “I figured you would have even more fun if you had your own board to use.” Akito “…” Touma “Akito? Do you actually not like it or something…?” Akito “…” Touma “Err, Iori-san’s adjustments are seriously legit!” “I was thinking about how I could improve these parts to suit your quirks while watching our practise video from before and…” Akito “Touma, Iori-san—THANK YOU!!” Touma “!” Akito “I couldn’t be happier. I wanna skate with this right now!” Iori “Fufu. I’m glad you like it.” Touma “If that’s the case, then let’s get practising!” Akito “Yeah!” Touma “Thanks, Iori-san!” Akito “I owe you my life!” Iori “You’re very welcome. Good luck practising.” “…I envy those two.” Izumi (He sees the two boys off with a smile… Tsumugi-san’s acting creates a warm, guardian-like aura.) (Now that he has his own skateboard, Akito practices even more fervently.) Akito “Here I go… UWAH!” *falls* Akito “Ouch… *sigh*, I’m not improving very much. If only I could do cool tricks like you, Touma~.” Touma “It took me quite a while until I could pull them off too. But if you practise, then you’ll get the hang of it one day.” “Let’s do our best together!” Akito “Yeah!” *Shion skates up* Touma “Oh, Shion!” Shion “If it isn’t Touma? You haven’t been racing lately, so I totally thought you stopped skating.” Touma “Hey now. I don’t feel like quittin’ yet!” Izumi (Shion, another young skater, makes his entrance.) (Shion, who Muku plays, has a slightly different image from Akito and the others. He’s cute and mischievous.) Shion “Who’s that?” Touma “His name’s Akito. I’ve been teaching him how to skate these days.” Akito “Nice to meet you.” Touma “Akito, this is Shion. He’s my skateboard buddy.” Shion “I race with Touma around this area.” Akito “That’s wicked~! You’re pro at skating too, huh?” Shion “You’re learning to skate from him, right? Touma’s great at teaching.” Akito “Will I become as good as Touma one day then?” Shion “I’m sure you will.” “Anyways, Touma. It’s been a while—wanna race?” Touma “I’m down. Let’s do it.” Akito “I wanna watch your race too! Can I come along?” Shion “Of course.” Touma “Let’s roll out!”
