Ryo We haven't been to this restaurant in a while, ay, Omi? Omi Oh, right. Here's the flyer for our next play. Ryo Whooaa! You look awesome! "Lead: Omi Fushimi"! I'm stoked! Hey, you've got a scar on your eyebrow! Omi Azami said he wanted to make me look even more badass, so we drew some inspiration from you. Ryo Dude, nice! You've got the same scar as me here... That's awesome! I got this scar when I was protecting Nachi-san once, so that makes me really happy. Omi Oh yeah, that's right. Ryo It's like a medal of honor that Nachi-san gave me. It's really important to me. Omi ...... Ryo I'll be sure to bring all the Wolves along! Omi Oh— Sure. We should all go visit Nachi's grave after the play ends, since the anniversary of his death is close. Ryo Nachi-san will be watching the play too, I'm sure of it. Omi ...... (Maybe Ryo knows something about why Nachi wrote that in his notebook...) Hey, was there ever anything Nachi wanted you to keep secret from me? Ryo Secret? Omi ...Never mind, forget I asked. Ryo Hm, well... Nachi-san wasn't the type to keep secrets, especially from you... ...but I guess there was just one thing. Omi What was it? Ryo He asked the Wolves to not let you know that we all know you're a great cook. Omi Huh? Ryo One day, when you were away... *flashback* Nachi You know, I found out that Omi's actually freakishly good at cooking. He made me something yesterday, and it was super tasty, but it kinda felt like he didn't want anyone else to know. Could you guys pretend to not know that he's good at cooking, until he brings it up himself? *flashback end* Ryo If Nachi-san had never said anything, we would've never known, but nobody said a word. Omi He couldn't even keep that a secret, huh. Ryo Yeah. Omi Haha, that sounds just like him. (That's right... When I was the leader of the Wolves, I felt embarrassed about being good at cooking, so I never told anyone.) (I guess I thought the other guys would lose their respect if they found out their leader was so... domestic.) (I was so silly back then... I can't believe Nachi had to ask the guys to hide something like that.) Ryo Nachi-san was really proud of you. Said you had great talent for cooking. Omi Haha, he loves to exaggerate, doesn't he? I didn't even make him anything that fancy. That reminds me. Look, I got this from Nachi's dad. Ryo Wow, I remember that bracelet! You had a matching one too, right, Omi-san? Omi Yeah. I lost it in the accident, though. Ryo Mad respect for those bracelets. It was the mark of who was boss. Omi (Why did Nachi want to disband the Wolves...?) Ryo Can't wait to get together with the guys again! Omi Same. (I don't think I can tell Ryo about the notebook...) Omi ...... (The "mark of who was boss", huh...) *flashback* Nachi "This is the best time to forget about everything and do whatever you want, yeah?" Omi In high school, I reunited with the self-proclaimed "Runaway Professional" that I had met many years ago. Since Day 1, I had no interest in making any friends, and spent a lot of time by myself. Even so, Nachi wouldn't leave me alone. And before I knew it, we ended up always hanging out after school. Omi He got hooked on a manga that inspired him to start a biker gang, and one day, he asked if I wanted in. Nachi "Let's build the strongest team in all of West Tokyo!" Omi "How do you plan on starting a biker gang when you don't even have a bike?" Nachi "I'll figure something out!" Omi "How? You're broke." Nachi "Oh!" Omi Something in a shop display had caught his eye, and he cried out in excitement. I turned to look at what it was he had seen. Laid out on a table were rows and rows of accessories. Nachi "We gotta look the part if we wanna start a badass biker gang!" Omi "Get one if you want to, then." Nachi "Let's both get one! We can match!" Omi "Huh? Why do I—" I tried to refuse, but Nachi wouldn't give up, so I gave in. Nachi "You can have this color, and I'll have this one!" Omi "Fine... So? What else do we need for this biker gang?" Trying to make him give up on the gang was too much of a pain, so I decided to humor him. When I asked him that question, his eyes lit up like a kid at a candy store. My brothers became pretty good at helping around the house, so life was now a little easier than before. I went to a commercial high school, but never ended up finding anything that I wanted to do, so going to school became a drag. Nachi's suggestion was crazy, but it also sounded like a good way to kill time. Nachi "We need a badass nickname!" Omi "Wouldn't you normally start with the team name?" Nachi "Oh, I've already got one in mind." Omi Nachi chattered on, like he was just laying out his plans for the summer holidays. *flashback ends* Omi ...... Banri There you are, Omi. Omi ...! Banri Thought you were visiting your family today? Omi Oh, no, I already went the other day. Haha, you and Azami sure are good at finding me. Banri Wish I were a little faster, though. Then I could've had some of your cooking! Damn. Omi Haha. Sorry the ban's still in place. Banri Thought you might be feeling a bit of withdrawal, so I brought this. Omi Is that... a game? Banri Yep. Here's the controller. Omi What game is it? Banri A cooking game. It's not the real thing, but it might help. Omi I see. Omi Oh, I messed up. Now we have to remake it— Banri I got this. Omi Thanks. Banri Could you get the stove going? Omi Sure. (the game chimes) Omi Whew... Banri Pretty good for your first time. Omi Thanks, Banri. That did help a little. Banri Glad to hear that. Omi I still wish I could cook in real life, though. Am I too obsessed? Banri Obsessed enough to sneak back home to cook, haha. Speaking of, why not visit the old man and get him to teach you his stew recipe? Omi "Old man"? Banri Zen-san. Omi Ohh. (There is something I want to talk to him about, too...) I'd feel kind of bad, though. Like I'm cheating, or something... Banri Why don't you bring Sakyo-san along to taste test? You won't feel bad if you don't hide it from him, right? Omi But... Banri Just be honest with him. Omi ...... Banri You're both former delinquents, so you guys can probably understand each other in a way the rest of us can't. Omi (I feel like you also count as a former delinquent, but anyway.) You're right. I'll talk to him. Sakyo ...... Omi Can I have a word, Sakyo-san? Sakyo What is it? Omi I've got a favor to ask...
