Notes
- ↑ Natsu literally means summer, so they're just repeating the same word in two different languages, because "summer" in English sounds like the "-sama" that ends every other line in the chorus. The puns are difficult to translate! :(
- ↑ "Oresama", translated as "our superstar" is a boasting way of referring to oneself, along the lines of "the great Me". It's often used as a nickname by Yuki and the others to mock Tenma. This "oresama" could be in reference to Tenma, or a boasting way of referring to the Summer Troupe as a whole, like "the great Us".
- ↑ A term often translated as "god", referring to deities and spirits in the Shinto religion, but with a very different implication than "God" in the English language, so I decided to leave it untranslated. Kami-sama are associated with nature and tied to nature, so to praise the kami would be like praising the sun, the sky, and the beautiful summer weather.
